"Ace" is the title track on Taemin's solo debut album Ace from 2014. It was the song that accompanied his debut single "Danger" as part of his comeback performances. What makes this concert performance even more impressive is that Taemin is singing live. SHINee are known for the fact that about the ONLY thing they are not good at is lip syncing, so when you hear them singing 95% of the time it will be live. The members of SHINee have trained since they were rookies to build stamina and endurance so they are able to sing live while performing complex choreography for more than 3 hours in concert and always look and sound flawless the whole time. Taemin's nickname is the Korean Michael Jackson for a reason. Michael Jackson has been one of Taemin's idols since he was a little boy. Believe me, it is not lost on him, SM or, least of all, fans, that he dances like Michael Jackson. But that's not the only reason why he is considered the Korean MJ. Taemin just has something special and his whole aura and being on stage radiates awe inspiring magnificence. He just embodies what it means to be a performer, similar to what made MJ so unique, special and legendary. That's why Taemin is considered one of the top dancers in the industry and why he is a member of SuperM. If you want to really see Taemin pay tribute to Michael Jackson, just search "Taemin and Michael Jackson" or "SHINee and Michael Jackson" on KZbin. There are several clips of multiple performances where Taemin and SHINee have performed tribute dances and participated in performances with Michael Jackson songs. What you just experienced is why Taemin has been dubbed the Ace of the Kpop industry. He is a magnificent performer and one of the most popular solo artists. Taemin is known for being super sexy when it comes to his solo content. It's just part of who he is, and he does it without even really trying. The performance for "Ace" is fairly tame compared to most of Taemin's songs. You haven't even scratched the surface of how sexy Taemin can get when he performs. LOL If you think this performance was too much to handle then don't watch his live performance of "Sexuality," "Slave," "Play Me," or even his MV for "Thirsty," etc. ;p Fun fact: "Ace" was wrote by Changmin/Max from TVXQ. There were actually 3 songs from this album that Taemin promoted with. The third song was his song "Pretty Boy" which was wrote by Jonghyun, SHINee's main vocalist, and, as you may know, features Kai from EXO as the rapper. Jonghyun specifically wrote "Pretty Boy" for Taemin.
