The cutscenes in that patch were so good, I love all of them ! I almost cried during the opera scene with Yunjin, the song, the animation, the feelings the opera singer placed into the song, they all matched so well together. This is going to be one of the best moment in Genshin so far.

I wish another story quest with this level of art and culture will come out soon, specifically for the inazuma region, Id like to see a kabuki theatre performance or a yosakoi to end the inazuma chapter on a beautiful note, and if not I hope the future sumeru will have the same cultural awareness regarding egyptian or middle eastern cultures added into the story cutscenes

Beisht: Trying to avenge her husband’s death. Ei: Striking lightning all over the place making Beisht look cool😂 Also fun fact: If Shenhe hadn’t interfered, Ganyu would have saved us nonetheless. There was a reason she aimed her bow. Combine this fact with her Friendship story under ‘Vision’ here she says, she wouldn’t use absolute powers from her vision, unless there is no other way out.

There were lyrics at the bottom of the screen in the cut scene translated from the original Mandarin. I cried when I first watched this cut scene and I went to KZbin and watched it dozens of times since. Damn good.

This quest was pretty much the best one they did since the Inazuma finale, maybe even better. If i could switch out Paimon for Shenhe as traveling companion i'd do it in a instant, couse this quest really made me want to do just that.

Love watching your progress in Genshin. I was looking forward to this particular reaction. Shenhe's quest is my favourite archon quest but there will be some crazy stuff when you reach Inazuma. Also, highly recommend to react to Honkai Impact 3rd animations. They look sick.

I recommend to just watch all the playlist in genshin channel, the one with the cutscenes and the character trailers are dope, the videos about the moonchase festival and the lintern rite are my favorites

Shenhe's English voice is so different to the Japanese voice. English is much more stern. While the Japanese is softer. I personally even like her English voice more, even though I generally like the JP more and only play in JP. Ninguang's English voice isnt so good IMO. The VA sounds like she is only doing it for the money, not for the fun. Japanese voice is much better. You really get those ara ara Ninguan superiorty vibes in the JP voice.

I'll be honest (and this is a very controversial opinion) but I don't like this scene at all... there are good things like them fighting Beisht and her being an actual Boss unlike her husband, the Problem is with Shenhe... for me she felt like an OC someone paid Mihoyo to include in their Game and then have her shoved into an Archonquest so that everyone has to see how awesome she is.
