This is actually Ronnie's house and that's his girlfriend. He's actually the one playing the piano. He's clean and sober now. Derrick Jones was part of the band. Also, if you didn't notice, they covered all of his tattoos for this. Also Also, hope you are doing well. Recovery is tough as hell but it's the right path and it takes alot of courage.

It’s not his house at all. Jesus. I see this all over reactions to I’m not a vampire reimagined and it irritates me. There is even an another band that shot music video in this mansion before FIR did. It’s not his house.

This video actually won some awards, rightly so. The suggestion below for other FIR songs are great, but from a production standpoint, Popular Monster has done great camera work, Zombified has some great CGI and makeup, and Voices in My Head has lots of great stunt work. Ronnie is the genius behind FIR. He does everything, from lyrics, beats, and instrumentation, to conceptual ideas for the videos. He collaborates, of course, but he is the mind behind it all. Since the band's formation, band members have come and gone, but the music maintains the same vision. I hope you continue down the FIR rabbit hole. You create great content!

This song is so good and his gf who is in this admitted she use to be suicidal before she meet Ronnie and doing that scene was hard at first but after doing it helped her fight her depression. i've seen FiR multiple times, when i first saw them in 2015 or 2016, he was also saying "thank you" after every song, wishing people a great day (it was a multi stage event), making sure people are staying safe getting taxi's all that. very different from other bands that were talking about their roots or inspirations or all that. ronnie was very focused on making sure the crowd was happy and that everyone knew how appreciative he was that people showed up. easily went from one of my favorite bands to THE favorite after that experience, i still remember that 30-40 minute performance clearly to this day.

@@GreenTurts Hell ya I'm in a few months seeing Falling in Reverse again but this time bringing my best friend with he said it will be an early birthday present to himself lol. Also FIR was the first concert I paid to go see the concert years before that was KISS for my dad as a gift bc that is his fav band. But FIR that concert to me was the best and made me smile so much where if he is playing near me and I have the money I'm going bc the vibe he puts in the place just feels great.

Yes! My favorite remastered song of theirs to date! I love the story we are given throughout the visual takes and audible tracks. The fact we open up with, in all the sense of the phrase, a ghost walking through her memories. We see how she admired him but didn't want to approach. How she hid away from what was happening, turning a blind eye to the death circling around her. Until, finally, she had enough. She left him, thinking it was the best, but her heart could not, so she comes back just in time to witness him at his lowest. Fueled by the loss of her, of the added on pressure of the townsfolk starting to notice, and his own need to kill to survive. "Where is my self-control?" The emotions are high here - and our ghost, once living, decides that she can't leave him but also can't live with him. Not as she is. Either she will die by a blade or be born again by love. Despite that, despite knowing he shouldn't, he gives her a second chance, a new life - the opportunity to be equals with him. To share this dark fate. Except... as fate often does, it found an ending. The townsfolk dragged him away. This monster, the killer of men, and forced him into the light. Figuratively and metaphorically. Or was it on purpose - was the evil seeking redemption for what he has done? And as he burned away to ash she too stood against the rising sun. With no fear nor regrets she accepted fate once more. For she could not live with him or without him.

As far as I am aware there only two tracks he has 're-invented- - this and The Drug in Me is You. Goosebumps in both. I think I commented on your post to As the World Burns that it would be great to see your reactions to a few other songs - I love the music and the creativity of the clips, which some have commented they felt like they had watched a movie. Yeah this song was originally about being an addict. Being a Vampire is how they suck the life out of everything around them, the zombie line is a reference to how he felt on the drugs. The ReVamping of the song just takes it to another place bringing the vampire theme to the nth degree. I'd suggest you listen to the original song even if you don't react to it because I feel it hits home more with the addict/recovery theme. The video is really good for the time it was made. (10 years before the ReVamp)

The line "Well, I'm not a zombie But I feel like one today Self-induced comatose, chemical daze" went completely over my head until I watched the original music video for I'm not a vampire, and Ronnie is standing in line at he hospital (presumably in the psych ward), and they hand him the cup with pills in it, and he then takes his meds. As someone who is close to someone who struggles with mental health, and addiction, that line after seeing that gobsmacked me. It is such a perfect way to describe how difficult it is to try and get these things in check. Highly recommend you check out the original I'm not a vampire music video, as well as "The Drug in me is reimagined"

I've been watching music videos for decades, but how many really stand out? Thriller? I'd do anything for love (but I won't do that)? Handful of others over the years. This for me is maybe the best I've seen, just because it hits every box for a music video. Great storytelling from two points of a drug addict and a vampire. It's a great metaphor. Video and sound production is just excellent. Well acted story. Lyrically very good and Ronnie's vocal gives it the emotional pain, sadness and desperation those lyrics deserve. It's just a masterpiece of a video.
