If u watch BTS first variety show called "Rookie King" in 2013, that BTS cafe is appeared on that show where they eat at there (members always eat at there on their trainee days because their practice room is under the restaurant basement. At that time, bighit building didnt have their own practice room, so they rent a basement for their trainee to practice). Back then it still a normal cafe back then not become a BTS cafe like now yet. The owner always celebrate the members birthday every year to support them, even after BTS cant come to eat on that cafe anymore because of their busy schedule also bighit office move from that area. But the owner still held an event to celebrate BTS members birthday along with Army who came to that cafe to celebrate the members birthday. And all BTS merchandise, picture and doll on that cafe, is from Armys who put their BTS merc, pic and doll on that cafe. And slowly, that cafe turned become BTS "shrine" like now 🤭🤭

There were about 30 trainees for Bangtan but not all of them were ever in the official line up . Bangtan was originally meant to be a ip hop crew, abbreviated as B.P.B which came from their English name, “Bullet Proof Boys” (No boy scouts at this point) and the official members of this first line up were: Namjoon, Iron, Shin Donghyuck (Supreme Boi), Choi Ikje (i11evn), Yoongi, Hoseok, and someone named Park Yeong Man. Then the project changed, mots of the rappers leave, and BPB became BTS, a future hip hop idol group. Kim Ji Hun (the guy ont the video) joined the trainees in summer 2011. He lived in the dorm with the former members (they were between 9 and 10 trainees in this small dorm) since july 2011 untill probably June/july 2012, then he was cut from the group. He was the last trainee to leave. Ji Hun has a KZbin channel under the name of Bitoon with several videos where he talks about his time as a trainee. Most of his Bangtan related videos are English subbed but not all of them. It''s very interesting. Hre is the link for those who are interested :www.youtube.com/@bito_on94/videos

He said he doesn’t tell people he’s a trainee anymore so it is really surprising he agreed to this video

@@LoveTheBasics i think he dint want people to make judgements or assume stuff about him when he tells them he was a trainee with them.. and maybe through this video he could open up and explain it all better

I'm sure BTS members sometimes think about their friends from trainee days even though they might not have time to meet them anymore. Plus once the group got famous, it's not easy to make true friends. The audition & trainee elimination process is so insanely tough in KPOP... of course, only the talented can get through, but it's also if the desperation/passion showed more than the other competitors, on top of a bit of luck/fate. You can be the best of the best, yet a day not feeling well or choosing the wrong song to perform can get one eliminated. Even after being selected, they have to tolerate the tough living conditions, stress, homesickness, and fatigue physically & mentally. Financially as well, trainees pay them very little, so the longer the trainee period, higher the pressure.

Remember korean ages are counted differently so he would not have been 18, he would have 16 or 17 depending. Supreme Boi used to be a trainee but decided he fit better as a producer rapper. The role Suga originally wanted. Another trainee went on to become a Big Hit choreographer. To excel as an all rounder was a tough call, plus we have seen how important the chemistry is to the group. Viewed impartially he would have been the same age or older than RM, eho was writting music learning to dance and acyong as a mentor yo the makne line. In the book it describes RM sitting them down in front of the tv so they could watch the greats perform. Pointingnout all the ' cool bits' Gave them data sticks with long lists of music he cataligued for them begging them to listen as " how could they be dingers if theg did not know their music". That person ghoufh sweet described his skills were declining, as everybody else was improving. Truthfully he knew before the axe fell.

I think he is same age with Suga, coz when he mentioned Suga, he didnt use honorific "hyung" to Suga

I think he could use the photos because he himself took them, with the members willingly in them, while vice could get permission from him to use BigHit trainee footage but would have to get bighits & BTS's permission to use their faces? Like vice would have to get those permissions & probably have to pay something to use BTS faces in the trainee footage. Also if the guy wants to be famous as he said, being on a vice documentary about training with BTS is a way to get checked out. I saw he could dance but I want to go find him now just to hear him sing or rap 💜 hope that made sense.
