Baseball is big time sports in korea. Seungmin’s grandpa was a well known pitcher in high school so he had wanted to be a baseball player. Injury sidelined his dream.

Baseball is actually universal. It’s pretty big in Korea, Seungmin (the main vocalist) grew up playing baseball bc his grandfather played baseball, he would have played professionally but had an injury which led him to pursue music instead.

Those scratches are a recurring theme in many of their MVs. Here’s my theory: The Stray Kids universe story has multiple parallel universes. So when they travel from one universe to another, they take some damage. Other Stays, please correct me if I’m wrong

Well based off the two parallel universes, one version of Stray Kids was guided by the “system” & the other versions of Stray Kids took their own path. So I’ve noticed the ones who took their own path were the ones with the scars, you’ll see how they get their scars in TOP, bc they run against the wind (Levanter means wind) and so the injuries might actually just be identifiers to help us differentiate between the two versions of themselves. Especially with the concept of the mv. Thunderous is about their haters so it seems like it’s damage from fighting off evil in the mv. That’s just my interpretation tho, so take what I say with a grain of salt.

@@jessicabadere530 yes you're right about this but it's still confusing because chan said that the stray kids in top is their parallel selves, which is the reason why they got that red wrist band... but what i really think is the same way as you do (maybe chan is trying to mess our minds by telling the other way). those stray kids in levanter are the same stray kids in top, which makes them the owners of the red moon, the wrist band, and the ticket (because they run away in side effects right? and their ticket wasn't shown not until in levanter) and the originals got the blue ones (easy, thunderous trailer, and scars) and everything is from jeongin's perspective in the clone's world (that's why he keeps looking, crying, and feeling agitated)

Two things to help you understand: first is that each member has an animal character or a mixed animal character, such as a rabbit and pig. This is the music video with them wearing their characters (kzbin.info/www/bejne/bnu0pWmvhJ6qntE). Second one with the poem, Koreans would do a small joke(or game) by using each syllables to start a sentence or phrase. For example, the Korean title for "Thunderous" is "So Ri Kkun," so they are making small poems by starting a sentence/phrase by "So" and then "Ri" and then "Kkun."

It's called an acrostic and we do it in English too. I used to write acrostic poems for my grandparents for their birthdays and anniversaries.

i aprecciate a lot how you are actually interested in their personality, 'cus usually other's reaction's are fosused in just one theme, like, singing, rapping, etc, in your case it would've been reasonable if you were only interested on filmmaking, but you pay attention to the other things too. thanks alex, i'm always waiting for your videos

StrayKids are usually critique when they shooting videos. Members always tells their ideas and what its better to have a perfect shot of a certain scene. In most of their MV, they put their touch in it (like how to film this, camera movement, body language, acting, etc...) They are really into this kind of thing so that's why their contents is so StrayKids. By the way I really like your reaction videos and I would love you to react to the part 2 of the MV Making Film.

Bang Chan has been known to take notice of reactors. He probably has watched you, he watched another reactor I watch and mentioned him too. Namjoon (RM... BTS ) has watched reactors before as well but idk if he's mentioned anyone by name though. Side note, can you react to twice Perfect World? In regards to the acrostic poems, they’re making lines that correspond to the syllables they’re given. So how we, using English, might say, “Start a poem line with T” -> “(T)he dog jumped over the log,” they’re using syllables. An example would be one of them saying, “Use “여” (yeo) in an acrostic poem”, they could reply, “The woman doesn’t have a message.” (여자는 메시지가 없습니다”) because the sentence starts with yeo (여)!

By the way, Goblins in Korea are different from in the west. I can't speak for everyone, but when I think Goblin I usually think of like little green monsters, but in Korean mythology they are very powerful beings kinda like nature spirits. There is also a wildly popular Kdrama called Goblin where one of the main characters is a Goblin which I recommend if you want to get more of a feel for what they actually are or just want a good fantasy Kdrama to watch.

To answer your question about baseball in Korea, as far as I know, baseball is big in Korea, not as big as soccer but still big. One of the members, Seungmin, used to play baseball (pitcher)

Sry for double comment but I'm pausing to answer your questions lol or I'd forget. An acrostic poem is one where the first letter of each line spells out a word. So if I were to write one with the word film, I'd have to do something like: F- forever enjoying the mv I- in the comfort of my bed L- listening to the song I see M- my favorite idols in my head Lame ass little poem but I'm tired lol. Should explain it though. I've seen multiple idols play this game it must be popular in Korea. Hope this helped and pls ignore the silliness of the actual poem lol.

These boys write and produce their own music, and they also have a heavy hand in choreography and the MV production too. They're amazing young men. You saw how Bang Chan was changing moves on the fly toward the end of the video. He's a fantastic leader. He and the two who usually rap in the songs (ChangBin and Han) write all the music.

I’m glad you’re enjoying their personalities! Stray Kids are very hands on with their craft. Aside from producing & writing their own music, a lot of their ideas go into choreography & concepts, etc. A lot of scenes that you mentioned you may not have noticed might have been edited out, I noticed that when they shot the “why you mad, why you sad, why you tick tick tick?” part, they showed that it was originally supposed to be shot outdoors, but changed it to a room setting. So in kpop sometimes kpop groups have an ongoing storyline with their mv’s, Stray Kids have their own lore and this mv follows after Backdoor. To understand a bit of the storyline that led up to God’s Menu I’d recommend checking out their Prequel Highlight Reel, subtitles not needed bc the leader, Bang Chan , narrates it in English. And to understand the concept of Thunderous, I would recommend you check out AndyandJas’s reaction to Thunderous. Watch their reaction to the Thudnerous Unveil teaser & mv, it’s a bit long so definitely watch it on your own time but they’re Korean-American so they break down the concept/lyrics for international fans who may not have picked up details on the traditional Korean concept/cultural details.

Hey there a new fan to your channel and a stay (what stray kids fans call themeselves). I really liked watching your reactions to the making film and can't wait for when you do part 2. They also have a making film for the Thunderous Trailer which was a teaser for the comeback I think you should also give the Thunderous Trailer a watch as it's really fun to watch. Another thing I would recommend is their song camp series more specialty the last episode as they were tasked with making unit songs for the album and they talk about making the mvs for them in that episode.

10:32 They're making some kind of poems with the song's title. The song's title in Korean is "소리꾼" which is pronounced as "So-ri-kun". I think it means "people who are good at making noise"? Yeah it doesn't mean "Thunderous". You can look more into that but anyways back to what they're doing. They're making a poems out of the title, using each syllables as the start of a sentence. So the first sentence would start with "So", and the second sentence would start with "ri", and the last one with "kun". Hope that make sense.
