We had Film Net + and TV 1000 here in Romania in the early 90`s on cable.I guess it was pirated.What a memories.The best movie channel in all times Film Net +.I was 15 years old but i remeber every logo an ident.I miss Film Net.If u have more idents please post here.

Wow! I´t brings back so many memories!! This channel kicked ass!!Best ever!! Once in the beginning it had as jingel the soundtrack theme of the movie American Anthem.

Greatest channel ever! And what a superb quality it was even today it's hard to find similar to Filmnet + quality of broadcasting and movies (lively breathing - so real quality of movies) and you will agree with the following, I am sure: digital tv and new today technologies and devices are far-far away from our unbelievable FILMNET + of 90-s!!! The idea and its realization within FilmNet + project were outstanding and out of this world! Who were that guys that made Film Net + ?! They are genius!

This brings back some fond memories from my childhood! Though by the time Filmnet PLUS came into being it was more or less mostly Swedish owned and with the ridiculous cencorship laws we still had back then...

FilmNet was way better as a logo, theme, ident than Canal + ever was or ever will be. But a thing that also make us remember this for being better than Canal + is that FIlmNet has its time on television at a time where so much good movies was broadcast to us.. todays movies are remakes, with no idea mostly and don´t have the karma or atmosphere than the movies back in 70/80/90

Filmnet I remember the Pirate Decoders in the UK when it was analogue encrypted It used to go into the clear occasionaly for an hour or two now and again You needed to be resident in Scandanavia or Bennelux to subscribe to Filmnet legally Nice Ident (the first one)

Is it still called that over there? As far as I know it was Swedish company bought by French company and they changed the name into Canal +.

The beginnings of satellite television - had within the channel but without translation, I remember that at night there flew hard porn :)

FilmNet was renamed FilmnetPlus beacause of the merge with Canal Plus i guess

No, the merge with Canal Plus came later. FilmNet was renamed FilmNet Plus as in addition to its previous movies only schedule it introduced sport, mini series, special events and KTV.

movies today are rubbish - and have been for 20 years and tv is awful compared to the good old 80's things is there are more movie channels than ever and i never watch them but back in the days of filmnet oh boy oh bring them back
