ich kann mich wunderbar erinnern als mein erster Videocryptdecoder 1995 ins haus flatterte die sky Karte aus England dazu. Angeschlossen skykarte war ja schon aktiv und plötzlich wurde das bild hell. unbeschreiblich war da.

Filmnet was for Scandanavia and Benelux regions only the movies were broadcast in English with subtitles unlike Premiere and Teleclub which were German and Swiss movie channels overdubbed in German The analogue encryption only scrambled the video so you could still listen to the soundtrack You could get pirate Filmnent decoders in the UK and Ireland but they only lasted a while before you had to replace them We had Sky Movies and The Movie Channel which were cool back in the day before everything went digital which meant more quantity of choice but not necessarily more quality

Ahh, great memories of Filmnet and TV1000- the late night stars- Buttman, Tom Byron, Mark Wallace, Mike Horner, Randy West, Debbie Diamond, Celeste, Dianna Lauren, if you had these channels I am sure you will know these names lol.

Filmnet even had teletext feature with exact countdown what will go next. Later they encoded audio. So I recorded audio on Teleclub or Premiere on tape. And then played it along with a movie on filmnet. 😂. When my father was not home I used powersupply from my TT-scale train. :)

Hehe. Fakt by ma zaujimalo kolko ludi u nas to vlastne pozeralo. To analogove kodovanie bola pecka. Si si tocil v dekoderi potenciometrami pre lepsi obraz. Ja som si daval do dekodera trafo z vlačikaTT ked nebol otec doma 😂.

Den teleleclub Decoder mit dem Steckschlüssel habe ich noch und ebenso den syster Decoder vom Premiere mit dem Steckschlüssel sowie 12 verschiedene D boxen von Nokia/ sagem/ Philips und verschiedene Piraten Kopf aufgespielt Software zu dekodieren von sky Deutschland.

I'd rather have it as it was then, its too polished, when you were tuning in your sat receiver you never knew what you would get. On some occasions, RAI Italy were doing a live outside broadcast with kids picking their noses waiting to be interviewed, or some RTPortugal testcard looking the worse for wear for drink. It was more of a hobby instead of something else on the gogglebox. I notice no one has uploaded a tv1000 or Filmnet naughty film!
