The 2nd album self titled would be great to analyze they brought in a different female vocalist to replace Michelle but didn't credit her. Amazing songs on that LP.

california dreaming is the best song of the sixtys, it defined the hippy movement that was in full swing. Also in the 60's california was the place to be unlike today.

The group regressed. Each subsequent album was inferior to its predecessor. Eyes And Ears > Mamas And Papas > Deliver > Papas And Mamas > People Like Us.
