Fantastic episode...seriously one of the best. And here i think Johnny showed he wasn't just a pretty face . He can do pretty much anything, any kind of genre in a movie or show and make it beliavable as hell. His acting always lets me amazed. Anytime someone say "he can only act in fantasy movies and play masqueraded and excentric characters", i will tell them to watch this episode.

Absolutely agree! I would say that in this series there were already many episodes where Johnny was magnificent. Take at least the Marathon of suffering 13-16 episodes of the 2nd season.

Aww this show is what made me fall in love 😍 with JD. I could not stand any of his movies cuz he just got too weird for me but in these episodes he was soooooo dang cute 🥰 and normal. (The only reason why I was disappointed in the movies that he chose to be in was just because of my taste in movies is ALL, it had nothing to do with his acting because he is an AMAZING actor, and so was everyone else in this show!!!) Aww it also brings me back to my high school at around the same year haha. 😊 My High schools name was “Grant” and they used that H.S. name in one of the episodes even though it was filmed in Canada. THANK YOU 🙏 sooooo much for posting these!!! I LOVE them, until season 5 of course. 😉😂

The premise of the prison story is taken STRAIGHT from the Sean Penn movie from 1983; “Bad Boys.” Even from the socks with rocks which matched the soda cans in the pillow case scene from the movie. All the way to the lines when the hammer was on his bed, and his soulmate, said; “you’re it!”…

The harsh prison environment could exacerbate mental health problems, make people more prone to aggression, or make them cynical and distrustful of the legal system. Prisons could isolate prisoners from friends and family who might help them find jobs eventually. Or prisoners may learn from other prisoners how to be better criminals.

The only time I was so worried about Doug was in the episode about suicide. Why didn't they show their meeting with Tommy in the finale ((( Johnny is simply great in tragic episodes. This one should have belonged to him alone and that is why it turned out to be so strong. This escalation of horror in his head, it emphasized the flawedness of the system and the tragedy of the situation. I feel sorry for kind-hearted Henson that he had to go through this. I feel sorry for all the kids who are railroaded by the system.

I think Johnny Depp can’t help but show the love in his heart. I think that’s what makes him so special. It also makes me wonder how to could ever get charged with spousal abuse. He shows empathy for almost everyone whose in trouble, even in the episode when they were in the lab, and his lab partner killed the rat. That’s what I admire most about him. I never knew too much about him until the trial. I was busy raising my kids and didn’t even know know about this show.
@ekaterinatrow79766 ай бұрын
@@2kitties I absolutely agree with you! Johnny literally radiates concern and kindness towards others, this is very noticeable in small gestures and phrases, and has been noticeable for a long time. I used to also watch films with his participation, admired his acting, but nothing more. And only after learning the whole story of his life did I begin to respect him as a Person.

I want to know the track listing of every song from the original soundtrack. I probably own most of those songs anyway, but I still want to know the proper soundtrack listing. I have looked online and you get the pilot or some cd soundtrack release listing; however, information on the entire series listing is missing.

The original Hammer in this episode, the one who got beat up by Hanson, was in After School Special in a season 2 episode. His real name was Cosmo. I'm not sure if he was supoosed to be one of the people that got arrested earlier and that's where he is now or if they just used the same actors for small roles in different episodes. I'm positive it is the same person but I'm not sure the shows intentions with it.
@sweetsweet2739 ай бұрын
The guy has been a guest in about 6 episodes so far playing unrelated characters each time including this one. He just seemed like a production favourite. He was selling guns; playing pool with the killer of Hanson's girlfriend; he's in a street fight scene in the guardian angels episode and is also one of the undercover cops that get busted and killed in the episode where Judy dates a drug lord. In all the episodes he's been in, he always has some dialogues. But this is the second epi so far where his character is named and is central to the story.

If Tommy (JD) would have really been hit with a hammer 🔨 it have been cracked open. If he lived he would had a traumatic head & brain injuries with possible brain damage. Take it from someone who was put in a medically induced coma. April 7, 2006 I had traumatic head & brain injuries, both lungs collapsed T12 Spinal Cord injury 5 broken ribs all among the worst that happened. I was found dead still laying on top of my boys who were 3 & 6. I was in a Tennessee F4 tornado. We were binding in our basement. All that was left was a partial basement wall, my SUV & a pile of bricks that we were under. I Used my body to shield my kids from fling debris. They came out ok. My youngest didn’t even have a scratch but was coved in my blood. My 6yr old had a minor concussion. Doctors didn’t think I would leave the hospital alive and if I did I would be a vegetable , in a nursing home. Went to 4 months of therapy at Shepard Center in Atlanta and after came home. I am paralyzed below the waist, lil damage remained from brain injuries. My memory hasn’t been the same since but did improve. I did loose my sense of smell but have regained about a 1/3 of it back. Things don’t taste like they used to but happy coffee has gone back to smelling almost like it used to. There is actually advantages to losing you sense of smell. I let you figure that one out for yourself.
