Not On The Show: When the show was first aired in 1953, Danny Williams' wife, Margaret, was played by June Hagan, best remembered as the actress with the squeaky voice in "Singin' in the Rain". Danny and Margaret have a daughter, Terry (Sherry Jackson) and son, Rusty (Rusty Hammer). Because Miss Hagan left the show in 1956 due to a drinking problem, her character was given a sudden death (remember that this was the mid 1950s and divorce, especially on a sit com, was taboo), and Danny Williams is now a widower. In 1957, widower Danny Williams marries Kathy who is a widow and the mother of Linda (Angela Cartwright).

Penny did a great job replacing Sherry as Terry. Her gestures, facial expressions, intonation are spot on.
