Something about Tennessee Ernie...his smiles...his southern accent...his sweet face... everything just makes him so lovable!!! I loved him so much in I Love Lucy and now I found him here! 😂

Loved Ernie in this one and when he was on the I love Lucy and another Lucy show. Sixteen Tons is a favorite song of mine.

Love these “old shows”-it’s like finding a lost friend. There’s no one quite like Tennessee Ernie Ford-! Wonderful episode: ❤️

Tennessee Ernie was a great gospel singer! And very funny. Love watching these old shows back in a day when things were so innocent. Also love seeing the home - with its furniture and china and all the stuff in the kitchen, etc. Chitlins - yuck! Thanks for the memories! And how Danny's wife was dressed! That's how my mama was dressed every night!

When I think how he is the 'father' of St Jude's you see how show biz didnt corrupt everyone....I mean what a brain child and he must have been such a sensitive soul. I don't know much about his life but to found THAT is something the world will never forget.

I'm Southern. I ain't never eat any chitlins. But I love a big bowl of grits. I like mine kinda thick with butter and pepper.

My mom liked TEF's recordings of Christian hymns. I hope to retrieve the albums.

She also was in "Lost in Space" and "Daniel Boone" Show. She was a model and appeared on Pepsi or Coca Cola commercials. She was such a darling girl.

I guess she stopped smiling through every line in that case.

It was Angela's sister Veronica who co-starred in "Daniel Boone". 😉👍

Angela Cartwright was adorable and becaa great actress but not here. On MRFD she smiled with every line which is not natural acting.
