Yeah I don’t like it that much. I definitely don’t see how it’s the best. The movie is called Godzilla yet the main character or characters don’t include Godzilla. Godzilla is reduced to an evil psychopath side character. They said that Godzilla was a natural disaster or something like that but it just randomly shows up actively attacks the city and kills people then just walks away when it’s had enough. Natural disaster aren’t like that there is always a reason for a natural disaster but there is no reason for Godzilla to attack. There are no monsters to fight so why does Godzilla appear what’s the reason. Plus the way Godzilla looks in this movie just seems odd to me. I am not trying to persuade anyone into believing what I believe I am just telling you what I feel about it, if you like it that’s great and if you don’t that’s fine also. Keep in mind that I haven’t seen the movie and part of the reason is for what I have already seen with trailers.

The 1st one with Raymond Burr (American version) takes place I think current with the movie production in 1954. Godzilla (1998) doesn't even try to make the monster look the same.

I am an avid Godzilla fan, l am biased.. I have to say how excellent this movie is. It is an achievement. The emotional punch of this movie is solid. The Academy Award and other awards it received were well deserved. There is a black and white version of this movie. Worth your time. Enjoy if you get a chance to see this.

This was a great movie! I highly recommend it. I also enjoyed Godzilla Minus One and the Godzilla the King of Monsters film series. I didn’t compare them. I saw them because I’m a Godzilla fan. I enjoyed all for very different reasons. I liked the human perspective with this one. Minus-one felt more like a metaphor for the Japanese government. king of the Monster is all adventure, sci-fi, and actions. I recommend seeing them and enjoying them without comparing them.

They got the name of the town wrong it wasn't Shinigawa it was Ginza that Godzilla attacked and devestated resulting in the deaths and injuries over 30,000 and 20,000 homes destroyed just not only using his tail,jaws and claws but his immensely powerful Atomic Breath that nearly leveled the entire city as the shockwave from the attack completely destroyed several buildings in an instant.

This is the best Godzilla film from the human perspective as you care about what's happening to the people, unlike Legendary Godzilla films. With that said... it's a movie filled with conveniences like all the others and this version of Gozilla is ridiculous. ******Major spoiler**** In one film, a woman survives war, the fallout of war, an attack on a train, a fall from a train, and a nuclear explosion. And just has a few cuts and bumps. The story is amazing but come on. Godzilla is just the boogieman here and shows up when all dialog options have been exhausted. No need to watch this film again but others... I've seen them all at least twice with the exception of 1998 Godzilla.

I just watched Godzilla Minus One, what an amazing movie simply because you don't have no token annoying black actor, no he/she they/them nonsense, no rainbow colored pathetic characters. It was a movie about how the Japanese dealt with a huge monster, compared to the Hollywood crap they are rolling out, it's a classic. The latest American Godzilla movies are a joke and sad representation to the brand. there's no DEI bull crap just over the top acting, and that is fine. Godzilla X Kong is such a joke.
