Cyn wasn’t in control, the absolute solver was. In episode 6 Tessa said “it took Cyn has a host” when referring to the absolute solver. The absolute solver was just using cyn’s body.

Well, he might have missed on the actual events, but the plotline of the hero journey remains, just the helper wasn't S but Nori, and the Angsty revelation could either her mother destroying the world or the fact that Tessa wasn't alive but a husk for Cyn, given the location the Abyss part remain and both revelations lines with Death and Rebirth

The “N killed Nori” part is probably true, because in episode 7 (SPOILERS) When the reborn version of Nori says to N “You look familiar.” This could be hinting towards that.

One interesting detail is that when N is rebooting, and we get to see the reboot screen, in the upper left corner is a line of code about how absolute solver is being blocked by Cyn, who is labeled as an admin. I'm not sure if this will be used, but it could be significant later on as well.

@@sapphirepink2613 To put it the easiest way to understand, the only things MatPat theorized in this video that turned out to be true is that it follows the Hero's Journey and N is most likely the one who killed Nori, and even that isn't answered concretely. (The most we get is Nori telling him that he looks familiar) Oh yeah, Nori is alive as a core, like J's core that the AbsoluteSolver possessed in episode 2, and all of the ones Alice keeps in an oven in Episode 6.

Fr, the show is amazing but god is it confusing. They don’t tell you what they’re doing or what’s going on; or even why some characters do things like doll and the murderous orange bot in the last ep. I’ve figured some of it out but I’m still so lost 😭

Man, am I glad to see a video by Matpat that follows my exact train of thought on this show. I found myself saying: _"That's what I've been thinking"_ and _"I noticed that too!"_ all throughout the video. An amazing video overall! Serves as a fantastic plot timeline that I can refer other people to in the future. Keep up the good work! (P.S. Another detail you didn't point out is the evidence of Sentinels on the JC Jenson paperwork in Episode 4 at 11:22. The Glitch Team really hinted at Episode 6 early on which I found super cool!)

16:55 since episode 7 just came out I have a theory. The Death could be V or as we found out Tessa is presumed dead, the Abyss is the hole leaving Copper 9, and the Rebirth is Nori found being alive, but in a sort of different state

There's no way Tessa isn't dead. Her skin looks to be decaying, so either Cyn has recently killed her or has been trying to keep it relatively good. Basically, Tessa was taxidermied by Cyn at some point and taken over as an attempt to "camouflage"

On RemGames' recent theory on this show, I ended up leaving a comment about a theory I have. That theory being; The yellow erosive liquid inside of the Disassembly Drones' tails are meant to deal with the Cores inside of all drones. Since the core is capable of taking control to either repair the bodies of a drone or make them into Zombie Drones and eventually into the Eldtritch monstronity that J became when not properly disassemled.
