gotta love how theres supposed to be a distinction (other than artstyle and goofy typecasting) between cosmic and alien horror. what was cthulu native born to earth? or you going to learn that alien basically just means not from round here, likely to be the first dropped word when parlaying with and species that might want you to just think of them as people thanks. bit like the space equivilent of racism, planetism if you will. sure you can whack the word god around like it has some inheirant properties to it but largely its either a job title or an adjective for scale and doesnt mean anything specific. the infinite not giving a flying feck if you live is true in both. arbritrary distinction although i will throw the creator a bone here and say i entirely agree with leaving the x files out of it. geez american culture can ruin good ideas, literally any number of forms and styles of thinking and reasons to do things and we always get the same pasty thin bobble head humans essentially. so yea cosmic if your gunna bother and analogue horror is the art style not the story genre. like you can swing wildly around in tone whilst never leaving animated cartoons if you want to.
