Height- 5'9
Weight- 155 lbs
Waist- 30 inches
Hips- 33 1/2 inches
Chest- 38 inches
Shoulders- 17 1/2 inches
Arm Length- 32 inches
Neck- 15 1/2 inches

FILSON'S TOP HONEST REVIEWER! I just received another Filson Wool Mackinaw Bib but this time I bought new instead of used on Ebay. I purchased them from Filson. I also had to call them and let them know that you and your KZbin video's have sold me more filson because of the spot on honest reviews and they should just send everything they make to you for these good honest reviews. That's all I got to say about that!.. I'm 6' 1" waist 35" by tape measure size, wear 30x32 in slim straight Levi',s weight 165lbs I purchased size 34 Filson said they are all 2" bigger then stated and they were right. I can put base layer top/bottom a slim 1/4 zip merino wool top with a thick wool sweater under the bibs and a Filson lined Wool Cape coat on the outside and I can still fight on my feet if need be with all the mobility needed to do so! I highly recommend older LL Bean, Woolrich, Johnson, Pendleton, Chippewa etc as an alternative to the Filson price tag. My old pair of LL bean wool bibs are incredible, and for only 20 bucks at the local thrift store. So many wonderful heritage brands to be found used.

I have a pair in the forest green color. Very heavy wool, I only ever wear long johns under them-more than enough for just about any cold you will encounter. As you can see, they are cut quite trim. You may think you have, say, a 34 waist, but if you have any belly, a 34 pair of these will be tight across that belly-no stretch in wool! I always tuck my pantlegs into my boots (usually Baffins), so I haven't bothered to hem them,either.

These look great! I wish I lived in a colder place to justify buying things like these. Still wanting to buy some more filson I've been looking at the Tacoma work coat because of the corduroy collar and cuffs.

Just bought the Big Bill wool 28 oz. XL overalls from Safety Vests and more, new, for $141. They're great! I've been wearing them all day with Pendelton shirt jac, and they're not too bulky. Like them so much I bought another pair of the 24 oz. for $121. I wear a 60 year old Filson red and black hunting coat from my father-in -law when it gets much colder, but no way would I spend $495 for Filson bibs. Too much for a label.

Curious about your thoughts on big bill wool bibs?

I love the wool pants from them they are amazing and the price is awesome! They are a bit of a rougher/ courser wool than say the filson bibs. I don’t have the big bill bibs currently but I imagine they would be just as good as the the pants as they are made from the same material, and for the price compared to the filson ones they would be worth it I’m sure. I’m not sure of the fit but if I get a pair I will be sure to do a review of them. Hope this helps in some way.

Thanks! Greatly appreciated! There definitely not soft like Merino or brushed cotton but I don’t find them scratchy personally. Maybe I’m just use to it. I’ll possibly do a video on it in the future

I like them but there to pricey to beat the crap out of, which is why we wear overalls. And they must dry cleaned. Filson clothes are the best, they get people's attention when I wear them. Nice vid...
