Had Johnson wool pants for years, just found out today that they only offer two lightweight styles in 100% wool now. All the heavy warm options are 80/20 or 85/15 wool/nylon. Very disappointed.

I love your videos. Do you ever wear Filson wool button up shirts? I’m really trying to find a good one to wear in the winter over my long Johns. Thank you.

Is the second jacket in the “Coal” color? Or is it in the “Light Grey” which they seemed to stop making.

I love rough out. Nice jacket. Got pair of chukka boots in full grain rough out and absolutely love them, but I found a tear on top of one the other morning. I’m active at work, but not really exposed to items that would cause concern for that kinda of damage. Also, it’s been my understanding that the rough out is suppose to be more resistant to cuts 🤷🏼‍♂️.

The medium looks more of a fashion fit. This is a work garment. Large suits you.

Is the wool liner or their pirmaloft jacket liner warmer?

I'm curious how waterproof the Filson Packer Hat is. I get the impression it's great for snow and winter weather, just wondering how dry it will keep your head. Also, how warm does it keep your head?

Can I make a suggestion? In photography, it's best to use a neutral colored background such as Grey, tan etc. Also, the camera's sensor is trying to compensate for the bright white background. So whatever is in the foreground will be darkened. It's similar to the human eye. Our irises close when it's bright out. So it's best to film without the bright snow. If you want to, then you need a stronger light in front of you. But sunlight will create shadows. An overcast day is best. I recommend a background like a cabin wall. Take care.

@wild for wool I purchased a large jac-shirt a few weeks ago. It’s too big. I’m swimming in it and Filson isn’t willing to do an exchange for a medium. Wondering if you’d recommend washing it in warm water? I know this is risky but I was thinking it would shrink it a bit and make it feel like a medium (or large in any other brand). I’m 5.10 1/2. I have debating between a 100% wool jacket vs a sheepskin. I read that wool keeps you warm even when it’s wet. Does sheepskin do the same?

Where can you buy a double cruiser now? The one on their website isn't double wool anymore, it's wool and waxed cotton.

I where a cheaper black stallion pig skin welding jacket over the top of a wool jacket in the winter time and it keeps me warm in subzero temperatures and I work of the coast of Lake Michigan the combination keeps the wind off me and I’m out side for 12 to 16 hour straight sometimes.

Have you checked out the ondura shearling vest?

Pinch the fingertips when you pull your hand out, it’ll stop the liner from being pulled out.
