I still remember that day when it all started..I was a kid of 15-16 yrs in my Xth std..My grandpa (mom's maternal uncle) started treating me weird & awkwardly..He would just touch me up & down there, crushing my body parts..Even though I shouted at him once, he just said, "Shhh, you shouldn't shout at these things, just feel it & enjoy"..I knew that it was all going wrong with me, still I didn't have the courage to face it.. One day, I thought it was now or never..I went up to my mom & spoke it out..& nobody can imagine what she did..She said, "Shhh, don't speak it out, people would question of your character & image".. I still don't understand, what & where was my fault that I'd to give proof of my innocence..I never spoke to anybody about it & I just simply avoided that person from then..I don't speak to him anymore..Even if he's staying at my home for some reasons, I don't even look at his face.. It still haunts me like a nightmare..but I'm trying to forget it..Hope for the Best ❤️❤️ Edited - While writing this, I was again on tears remembering all that over again..😣😣😣

U should just hit him because some people deserve to get badly beaten. I am a 19 yr old guy and nowadays in college i hit any guy who is being rude to me. U were a minor if u went to police he would have been arrested. He is a monster. U were a kid. Even when i was a 15-16yr old boy back in 2016 i was so innocent but i used to get scared of guys in their early 20s thinking they would bully me as i was a minor. But i also had the best trip during Durga Puja 2016. I went to Goa with my parents and another family. It was my best trip ever. U should have been more stronger and complained to police and then asked ur parents to take u to Goa too. It would have been ur most memorable year. U should hit that person if he is being bad with u

When i started watching the video and i saw the first 2 scenes I just thought that it's not about applying an eyeliner or loosing a rubber band till the last scene came.. It is actually what happens and people feel ki kam se kam ek brutal sexual assault toh hona hi chahiye complaint krne k liye.. I'm really glad that it is being brought into light that even touching an inch of skin without permission is wrong and i support this irrespective of gender.. Not only for girls but for boys or any third gender too..Consent is necessary and a verbal consent has to be preferred over anything else

"I've been there too." Mere 4 words that gave me goosebumps. It's like harassment is as common as the air we breathe in, sad, what the world has come to, when you think of your mothers, sisters, girlfriends, wives, a woman - they've all experienced a form of sexual harassment at some age, at some point in their life. Men too are experiencing it but are told to wipe their tears and "be a man." It's a shameful and a scary world.

It's really disappointing to see how people justify their behaviour by saying that they were drunk......being drunk doesn't gives you the permission to touch one in an unacceptable way
@isabelmarguerite5560
@isabelmarguerite5560 3 жыл бұрын
No, he means that when you are drunk, you become clumsy and you can accidently touch someone by a normal movement. This is a horrible situation for an innocent man, when girls immediately jump into conlusions and ruin innocent men's lives by making these kind of claims about them. That's what her guy friend was trying to prevent and checking if this might be a misunderstanding. She just could have said: "No it was 100% intentional groping." Maybe her guy friend would have asked more questions and believed her then. But instead she immediately agreed: "I think you are right". So this guy let it go. What's his mistake ?

Cool. U r so strong. I am a boy but i was nowhere near as strong as u. In 9th std i used to daily get bullied but i didnt even have the courage to fight them back. In 2016 when i was in 11th std, some of my 12th std senior boys used to chase me and threaten me because of a long reason and all i used to do is run or hide from them. Seeing that even the construction workers who were doing repair works in school also used to try to make me scared by showing bricks or hammer and i used to run and they used to enjoy it. They were literally 18-30 yr old men and i was only 15 yr old boy. Its very strong of u being a 7th std girl hitting a 12th std boy. When i was in 11th std i used to be scared of guys older than me thinking they would bully me. I was so childish and weak that even my juniors used to win against me in running races and could outsmart me. Even now as a 19 yr old guy i am still weak in armwrestling hahaha.

My tution teacher used to touch me inappropriately and grope me every now and then. I tolerated that for almost 8 months EVERY SINGLE DAY. Ab aap kahoge itne time tak kyu sehti rahi. I was just 13 !! He used to threaten me kisi ko bataya to bahut maarunga. I was scared. Those 8 months changed my personality. My grades dropped. I failed in Maths. I became introvert with no self confidence. I started getting scared of every male. I still get nervous when any man stand close to me. I stopped hugging people. Few years later...I was diagnosed with clinical depression. Now I am 26 and still not cured yet. Still suffering from depression. Aise log khud to maze le lete h par jiske sath hota hai they suffer throughout their life. A sincere advice. Meri tarah chup mat rehna. Raise your voice and fight back. Share with your parents or any friend the moment this happens. Women's day nhi chahiye bhai bas aisi harkatein band ho jaye har ladki ke sath wo din best hoga duniya ka

He started touching me inappropriately and as I didn't know about good or bad touch I just felt confused and uncomfortable . I am currently now 15 and became an introvert just like you di . And then our society just teaches us to dress up well so that no boy can stare man they'll stare even if you're fully covered that's what their eyes are at ! Don't drink then if u can't handle urself nd don't expect from others of taking care of u when u r drunk, nd u can do whatever jst goes in ur head and u act, Then simply blame on drinks/ alcohol

The thing is when we are old enough like 8+ years , our body automatically develops a sense of good and bad touch But what about children who felt this way before anything and didn't even refuse to molester cuz they didn't know that was bad .I was molested once when i was 5 and once when i was 7 . After some years i figured out what was that still because I was sooo small i can't thoroughly remember it and sometimes I think this was maybe a dream , but how can a kid dream about that horrible thing Now I am 12 and this year on diwali i went to my grandparents house and threre was a bhaiyaa who was constantly touching my feet with his feet , i though that was a coincidence because it was a truly unexpected from him , he is well educated, and he also came to his grandparent house on diwali, that thing was being repeated again and again and i understood that was not by mistake and i said him noooo After that he didn't do it And i got a lesson don't judge a book by its cover

The same thing happened with me too... even the dream thing ! I was 6 or 7 years old I think... don't remember clearly. Few years ago, I guessed that it wasn't a good thing but I kept ignoring it. Now I'm 17 and thought about it very seriously and finally realised. I was also very confused if it was a bad thing but now I completely understand because of the actions happened to me. I couldn't imagine that I'll go through something like this. And now I guess every girl faces this once which is very sad and shameful. The fact that I was just a child and couldn't figure it out then really annoys me. I should've slapped that rascal .

Now it's almost 6 years and I am still ignoring him whenever we visit them or he visits us I don't even speak a word to him though he had tried to speak to me 100 times 💔💔and now he is married and his wife had faced 4 miscarriages till now I never believed in something called karma but now I feel like their is karma somewhere in this world 💔 I just wanna say to all the guys out there just for the sake of ur few mins pleasure don't destroy the whole life of a girl bcz these r something that a girl can never ever forget in her entire life💔

Everyone is sharing their story, I should too... So when I was like 10 years old, I went to a local shop after playing and it was near my house, so I was buying things and I just felt like someone was glaring at me, there were 2 boys there, sitting in thier cycle far away, so after I finished buying,I was going and they suddenly fled away towards my house and when I reached their, they started talking to me, I was behind my car and they were in Front and when they started talking in appropriately to me, I just stopped there, they were saying stuffs like, "why did you stop there sweetheart, come over here" and at that moment I broke down, I called out my mom and then they just ran away like nothing happened, so I just went to my house crying and when they were saying stuffs like that, random thoughts were going in my mind like "should I cross this wall and go in there, I cannot even climb" and after I went to my house my mom asked why I was crying I told her everything she was supportive, she said me "why didn't you called me?" But I was just crying there😭😭😭 P.S: I am 13 now and I know Karate (white belt tho)

Dear women, the molestors are NOT emotional guys. They have no shame, no empathy and no respect for feelings of a women. Only language they understand is that of fear and power. When women dont fight back to a molestor, it increases his confidence. He gets convinced that he can get away without any punishment. The next time he will molest another women thinking the same. So when women dont protest they are also endangering other women. That is why it is so important to say it out and loud when such things occur.

I understand that telling our stories is important to start the conversation on sexual abuse. But it's really unfair to make it an expectation or something that "should" be done. Whenever these things happen the body goes into an immediate fight, flight, or freeze response. It's more about survival than anything at that point. Also do not say that women are endangering women when we don't speak about it when MAJORITY of the sexual abusers are men. We are not endangering women by trying to protect ourselves, we're just trying to survive. Instead of telling us what to do, make sure you change the conversation when you're around you guy friends and they make inappropriate jokes or say "not all men".
@sourabhs14
@sourabhs14 3 жыл бұрын
@@anweshadatta9487 the fight, flight and freeze response only lasts for a short period (say a minute). After that the person comes to his/her senses, and can make rational decisions. Therefore, you dont have to respond immediately, you can do that after some time. Also you dont have to do it alone, you can ask your friend or a bystander to jointly take action against him. Secondly, I am not defending the molestors. They are entirely at fault here. But the problem is legal process far less effective than social action. In my opinion, we are far more stronger as a society than the molesters, when we unite together to fight them.

An elderly man continuously stared at me all throughout d journey. He seemed to be a very powerful maybe a politician or somebody because he had assistants & many people were hello ing him. And at the same time a boy sitting opposite me in the train was groping my legs with his. Imagine my situation that day. I regret that I wasn't able to do anything to these horrible men...

The last part brought tears to my eyes! So so so much respect for all you ladies bearing with so much trauma. The fact that this happens with a stranger is so saddening, I can't even imagine such things happening with my friends or sisters. But I think the bitter truth is that every one of you has suffered in some way or the other and this really makes me feel helpless :') Its a humble request from my side if anything of any extent happens with you, you should confront to the person even if you think it was unintentional or whatever. I know it might be very difficult for you all at that moment but please tell them you don't like that touch, so they keep that in mind and think about doing that again with anyone. I'll also try my best by educating my bros, so that you don't have to deal with all this someday! Big warm hugs to all of you ladies! Stay strong

This same thing has happened with me also when I was 9 or 10 years of age one man has touch me very badly . I was got angry and hit him very badly that he was started to crying. While he was powerful also but when I was 8 years old I know from that time how to do self protection and he got shocked that how a small age 9 or 10 age of girl can hit very badly and aafter this all he told me sorry and said this also I will never do this all bad thing with any women. And when I told whole story to my mom she was really happy and said wow my fighter queen u are really powerful. Well done my daughter. That day was my proud movement

Learn self-defense(ignore people, both men and women, who say that martial arts and stuff isn't for girls and it's gonna make girls more masculine; we gotta save ourselves!)...and if there are situations involving a lot of people and you're positive that you won't be able to fight them alone, then (I hate to say this but) run! because your life comes first and foremost than the regret you're going to have later. In such situations, you are only being wise by running. BUT when you get that guy alone, HIT THE SHIT OUT OF HIM

You know what is most horrifying, When the senior said to Jiya: is that even a question, I have been there too!! Yes, every girl had been there, there is not only a dark corner of road, there is not only a night club, there is not only a public transport, There Is Everywhere For A Girl And that's hell lot of a struggle. I am scared of location, street light, corner of road, group of boys, cab driver, literally scared of everyone. I have read the responses on a twitter post of a question, which was, "What will girls do if boys had a curfew of 9pm?" Answers in it are not only from india but from all over the world and answers were pretty simple, One said, I would like to sit under the tree in that park coz I just live the breeze and view. Other said, I will go on a run with my dog coz I love doing it in night. I got shocked as well as sad, "Are even women allowed to live? ? "

Not every guy has evil intentions. Just because some uneducated as well as some educated illiterates behave like complete A-holes, doesn't give any woman the right to brand every single guy on the planet as A-holes. There are good guys too who would do anything to protect a woman's dignity, but then all these stories and experiences tend to make women blind to this fact. Then there are those women who misuse the rights given to them and put false allegations on men. All I'm saying is awareness is good.. but only an individual can draw the line between who/what is right and who/what is wrong.

At the least 9 out of 10 women are right when they complain about inappropriate behavior. No matter how good you think the guy you have to trust the woman ( if its your friend or sister). That happened to me once and i thought my friend misunderstood a guy. But she was right the guy was an idiot. Never ever make that mistake of not trusting your loved one. Women know what is aprropriate and what is not I want to be clear about this. Yes there are cases where women misuse some things but I'm not telling you to trust a stranger. When something happens to your sister or best friend trust them. At least your sister doesn't lie to you right?

PLEASE READ FULL Feminism is good but i would respectfully argue that. Generally many feminist say that men have no problems and they are most priviledged. so let me tell you the PRIVILEGES OF MEN first of all i want to say that- I believe in full equality I know really well what are the real issues of women and we should fight with them also but that does not mean we should ignore men's problems. A Lot of men faces a lot of problems like misandry(men bashing), fake accusations for rape and dowry and violence, and their whole life get ruined. but no one believes them and everyone considers that women are always right. mostly men are the human beings who faces police brutality, get killed at war.etc DO YOU KNOW THAT A LOT OF MEN ALSO FACES VERY BRUTAL SEXUAL ABUSE BY WOMEN ON THEIR PRIVATE PARTS. PROOF of violence stats in form of a video -kzbin.info/www/bejne/o2XLo3uLpJxjpLs But the worst thing is that punishment for these crimes is very slow and less. because OUR LAW DOES NOT CARE about abuse with men and everyone LAUGHES at them. SUICIDES RATES OF MEN ARE NEARLY DOUBLE THAN WOMEN. 93% of workplace death, 60% of homicide , 62% homeless victims are MEN(but very less homeshelters are for men, most are for women.) HARD LIFE THREATNING works like cleaning sewers,coal mining,construction etc. are MOSTLY done by men. Men are taught to be STRONG and NOT CRY or NOT EXPRESS their emotions and feelings. According to many surveys 25% of domestic violence and 30% acid attack victims are men. but have you ever heard any news of this?? i know women faces MUCH MORE violence but that doesn't mean that you should ignore men's problems. MOST OF TIMES OUR LAW DOESN'T EVEN PUNISH WOMEN FOR VIOLENCE AGAINST MEN. Generally people LAUGH when a men faces abuse by women and women are praised for that act and said to be strong. but the opposite is considered to be evil by men. why these double standards? violence and abuse with all the genders are equally wrong. On public a men slapping women is wrong. BUT if women slaps men, then either men are blamed, or everyone laughs and ignore. And men CAN'T even FIGHT BACK as then they will be considered EVIL. Hitting all genders is equally wrong. SEE PROOFS in social experiments, THE REACTION of PUBLIC when MEN ARE HARASSED AND BEATEN. kzbin.info/www/bejne/fZTGdIqllMqNmtk kzbin.info/www/bejne/mYPco6iXnLeomJI kzbin.info/www/bejne/mqW5eaGQjZ14a5I kzbin.info/www/bejne/b6bGlHiuhLWAqKs kzbin.info/www/bejne/jn_ViKiQi5idoNk (Pls watch these to know THE shocking truth) in movies and serials and songs also ABUSE AND HARASSEMENT against men by women is considered FUNNY. MOST OF THE COURT LAWS are women BIASED, whether they are RAPE laws or DOMESTIC VIOLENCE laws or MARRIAGE laws. Do you know if a men takes divorce then he have to give up alimony and child custody to women DUE to this if men faces violence then he CAN'T even take divorce in fear of these laws. THERE are many cases where women uses these laws as an opportunity to earn money. Women have atleast laws for crimes against them but men haven't any of these Laws. Women receive respect in general but men only get respect if they are rich. Women are taught to be proud of themselves but men are taught to respect women and improve to to match women's status. Everyone should be proud of themselves. IF you will ever try to respectfully criticize a women then many times you are said to be misogynistic and everyone will say you "respect women" and if a women even abuses you, everyone will still support her and say her independent. Everytime society says that you can't hit a girl but they are ok if you hit a boy. "A man is always guilty until proven, and a women is innocent until proven guilty". In schools also we are always taught that women are superior and smarter than men. Punishments in many schools are very harder for boys BUT girls are rarely given any punishments FOR SAME MISTAKE. IN USA PRISONS ALSO, "FOR SAME CRIME", men recieve 63% LONGER sentences than women on average, and women are TWICE as likely to AVOID jail if convicted. A video containing proof of this- kzbin.info/www/bejne/q6TUXnx-iZp0iMU In my opinion, intelligence depends on person to person and from field to field. Generalization of any gender is bad. Respect should be given to all genders equally. At last i want to say that i know that women suffers due to patriarchal mentality but ignoring men problem due to this doesn't make any sense. SEE THIS, A VERY GOOD tedxtalk video OF A FEMALE FEMINIST reaction TO MALE PROBLEMS Name- MEETING THE ENEMY, LINK- kzbin.info/www/bejne/aYiwpq2ehr19pbs (Please watch the above video you will love it) WE CAN HELP ALL GENDERS. sorry if i have offended you because i am not a toxic person. I am true feminist.

I really didn't know that incident properly. I was in 10th grade and during summer vacations I used to go to parks in evening. One day when I was walking in park with my cousin sister 2 boys were also walking. And one of them just hit me on my upper with his shoulder and I was like....... And really I got jammed there 😶 I was like that wait what was just happened....

It was first time in class 12 while travelling in bus... Really it's very tough to share it when talks about this in the family n friend circle at that age is nil.But I did told everything to my father nd that was the last time I kept quiet, now I just slap aur beat them up.Raise ur voices.When it's not my fault why I should be guilty for this.Don't be quiet, it only encourages them to go further.I feel very confident now.... 😊😊
