Filtering & First time riding a Bandit 1250 ||Hold my beer||

First time riding a bandit 1200. What a bike this is! A complete different experience from my bandit 600 and filtering was an experience with a heavier bike!
It was nice of the mechanic to lend me his bike for the toy run as my bike wasn’t ready in time. Video coming soon for the toy run.

These are twitchy at low revs because of the secondary throttle butterflies. Mine was terrible until I removed them, since then it's been very smooth and gained some top end. The valves must open and close while you're on part throttle and combined with the efi system shutting off fuel at closed throttle it makes the 1250 really dicey when you're trying to get around a wet roundabout.

Or just get a proper woolich tune and command the butterflies open and adjust fueling..

Nice man! It’s a solid bike but not very forgiving if you aren’t carful. So have you got your full license, is that why you are doing your cbt to do the mod 1 and 2?

@@itsgeorgemoto no , Direct A ibt , I intend to take it very easy , and plenty of empty car park practice ,plus a few sets of crash bars. It's a heavy bike .

It’s fast low and top end just a mint bike but very smooth if you want it to be. I found it easier to ride than my 600 haha

Don't do it man. They say never meet your hero. Mine was always an iron 883. They are so lumpy it's unreal, they peak out at mid range the fuel economy is absolutely disgusting and when you come to a stop they are just horrible rattling and vibrating etc. I'm also a UK lad, cornwall to be precise and if you wanna ride it more than once a month don't do it. I learnt a 11 thousand pound lesson, and then was only able to sell for 9
