You will have too look but I know that you can use @remove CHARACTER and it will remove them from the scene. I am unsure of the coding for adding a character back to the scene.

Then you should use gain ** and then if ** and you will write the scene of the flashback Or you can in that choice create a label within the choice like writing goto label the_flashback that you want to go back in time... After closing the choices Then you will write : label the_flashback And you will start writing the scene

Grotesque Dreams Yes, it should. Multiple choices (with dialogue) however, should be used with a “if, else, e.t.c”

Keep the same outfit. Just add the necklace in next command by creating the same the outfit again with the necklace. @CHARACTER changes into [outfit]

A way to do this is just to make characters do the animations while standing in default locations, then break out that spot directing on mobile, and drag them to the correct positions. You might have to adjust some layers, but that usually works!

Venice Alyson You accidentally choose spotlight. You will have to create a new story. When it asks about the character display click the arrow to get full body. He explained this in the limelight for beginners video.

You can use @pause for a beat to pause to set your scene up if you need to move characters or change the where characters are placed. It is easier to use @pause for 1000 so that you have plenty of time to make your changes. Set your script and scene up and then remove the @pause for 1000.

#beat starts and #beat ends? Whoever told you that doesn’t know what they’re talking about. When writing a script in Episode, you don’t need to use “#beat starts” or “#beat ends”. They won’t do anything anyway. If you want to make changes in your script such as setting up a scene or simply pausing the action for a second or 2, you need to use the “pause” command. To set up a scene, write “@pause for 1000” to give yourself enough time to set the scene the way you want it. After you set the scene and make the changes in your script, you can remove “@pause for 1000” because you won’t need it anymore. To simply pause the action, all you need to do is write “@pause for a beat” or “@pause for 2” or however long you want to pause the action for. Also, you must make sure to put the “@“ symbol directly in front of the word “pause” so the script will recognize it as a directing command. Otherwise, you will get an error
