@@someoneanonymous1 Filterverse is a super deep and versatile collection of filters ranging from classic to futuristic. It is where Supermodal was born. When we made Filterverse we loved Supermodal so much, but it was clear it was not going to fit into Filterverse - After all it has a more complicated set of controls and it is made of 200 filters(!) So, Supermodal was just too big - control-wise and cpu wise to fit inside Filterverse. If Filtervese will gain a modal filter it will only have 32 filters - far less resolution. Both plugins deploy different synthesis techniques. Modal synthesis is a form of physical modeling and Supermodal is all about simulating resonating bodies and manipulating those. Filterverse cannot make things sound like a piano for instance. Supermodal is more specialized for a specific type of sound. We have a video called "What is a modal filter" which i highly recommend.

How well does automation play in Pro-Tools? I don’t like lfo’ing things unless I can manually sweep as needed. Love your tools, gonna buy this eventually, maybe I’ll convince the wife this week if I promise not to buy any guitars in 2025 (wink.)

@ How about basic filters like side chain replication? In the presets? I know you guys rule at the unexpected but sometimes I just need really familiar presets. You got a few of those in your stock patches?

Our 700 + presets range from subtle to insane and are easy to navigate through via our tags system. Many of them utilize side-chain, but the result really depends on the signals you provide. The guitar presets are pretty awesome.
