Are pond vaccums a good option for those of us who do maintenance ourselves and want to stay on top of things before we get to a point we have to drain and rinse?

100% a good option. But there are a lot of different ones for sale and it’s worth spending the extra money to get a good one in my opinion.

Iya mate . I have a question about an old video of yours.it was about and old goldfish breeder who kept some of his tanks outside in his garden . My question is. What did he do in the winter with the outdoor tanks in winter.

Ah yes it was a great video that. Unfortunately he has passed away now but luckily he filmed that video and managed to pass on some of the knowledge he gained over many years of fish keeping. I’m not sure what he did in the winter, but I assume he brought them in to the fish house.

Was the pond refilled with tap water and the fish reintroduced on the same day??

Filled with treated water and some water that was already in the pond (we fill up a large pool to house the fish and reuse this water also)
