Owned it for 2 weeks, 9 flights so far with tons of video, getting an hour of footage on 2 batteries and I have it max'd to 5km range and 500m height. 500m height no problem, i am getting maybe 2.5km range however i am in northern cal suburbia, i did buy the antenna extensions, super cheap but they do make a big difference in preventing it defaulting to "fail safe return" way too early. Sport mode is super fast and the gimbal is very good. Really good drone and i would rate well above the DJI mavic mini. Best drone on the market right now is Autel Evo 2, then the DJI mavic pro 2 .... .and I think this Fimi 2020 is a super close 3rd, maybe i got a good one based on other reivews. very very good value for $$$'s at $400 and very very wind capable, will post footage from Bodega bay and out at Farallon islands soon in tough conditions

Fly zone Drone, u have any ideas how to fix a barometer error on the Fimi X8 SE 2020. I can't get rid of the error, no matter what I do. You have any suggestions?

Hey chris didnt you ask me that before like last week. If you tried everything then its defenitely your hardware . you have to contact fimi support and email them and tell them you have a bad harware in your drone . that the barometer is not working and record a screean shot of your app that says the warning . they will ask for your registered ID number on the app and have you send it back they should give you a new one . now remember there was a bad batch made in may of 2020. look on your drone where you place the battery and see what date it was produced . good luck buddy !

you must get a sd card that can handle the speeds of 100mbps so i highly recommend getting the extreme 64 gb or 128 gb sanddisk v30. u3 a2

We’ll that’s cause it’s not picking up your satellite gps must wait . & must make sure you have data to set up on the app. Otherwise it could be your phone.

At 8:40, my android phone connects at the top left on the phone. Is that "slit" movable? How will I get my phone on the transmitter if the cable connects on the top left on my phone

You can flip for your phone . Turn on Rotation on your phone settings. If not your gonna need a longer otg cable .

@@FlyZoneFpv I happen to have a long cable and I am in the process of making something to wedge in the space on the transmitter. Rotating the phone doesn't work . The phone cable end is on the left so it is sits on the left side bottom of the controller. The drone came yesterday and I tried connecting the drone to the controller on the app. and said no connection/GPS? My phone is a alcatel/tetra ios 8.1. App says needs 9 to run?

@@vintagegirl1961 yes I would not recommend that phone . You will lose that drone. Need better processing chip version 9 and above .

I just received my fimi 2020 and while doing doing the calibrations I found that the bottom of the drone gets very hot.....is this normal? Also, there's a constant light rapid ticking noise coming from it all the time and the rc battery indicator lights continue to flash white. On your rc they are solid. Hmmm. Yes don’t worry it’s definitely normal. Let it do it’s thing and if it’s white on the controller then it means it’s connected properly.👍 that’s all normal. Your set . Yes you can see it on your map below on the bottom left hand corner . If you don’t see it then tap on the drone attitude indicator and the map should pull up . How has the x8 been since you have had it?

Its been really good . except for the horizon tilt on the camera sometimes . but doesnt always happen . ive noticed it happens when its really really cold out. but it comes and goes . but otherwise its a good one for beginners. if your interested in something better i highly recommend the Dji Mini 2 its about $100 more but its top notch and you will fall in love with it . the motors are sooo strong on it and DJI is the best on the market. I have the original Mini and it had blown me away...I have the Bebop 2,Anafi,Evo and original Air...I'm a flight time junkie...and believe this it not...The X8 is king of flight time and will cover 5.3 miles...I want one for the flight time and the distance ability.😂

Bummer,,, was doing the remote stick cal. an the right stick has no spring tension in the up position, will not calibrate. Have sent some e-mails to see if I can get a replacement

I'm sorry to hear that. But there's a simple fix to that . Just up on it so it goes back in place . It's kind of like a dislocated shoulder. Pull up on it . Hope this works . Be gentle on it tho! Let me know if this helps. 👍😉 Thanks for watching and Subscribing if you have done so. TC my friend.

@@kevinvandevelde5169 is it smoother? If it didn't work then try pushing it down Skittle slightly see if it pops back in it's track. If that doesn't work then it's something else. My advice is to just contact Fimi.. like you were suppose to👍 good luck my friend.
