Remember he has his own family, he was stressed out at the job. He unfortunately killed a girl because of his JOB! Some things take a toll. Also Finn and her have a great relationship but it’s obvious Liv and Stab have that different kind of relationship that if he wasn’t married at the time it would’ve definitely blossom

It's like Ice-T put so much himself into Fin that they have become one and the same. Fin started off as a character who was closed off and learning how to get along with the svu team and became a person with Ice-T's attitude and persona who's willing to do whatever it takes to help victims get justice and make offenders pay.

I wish there were more personal moments between him and Liv in later seasons since they’ve been working together the longest. Especially when Liv was feeling conflicted about Elliot recently. Rollins is a great friend for Liv, but Fin was actually there when Stabler was around.

Fin's character always felt like a pretty rational guy usually. Where Elliot's bigheadedness gets in the way of reason or Olivia's willingness to let her emotions lead an investigation, Fin is very much an in between. He's flawed but wants to do the right thing, but also will not hesitate to threaten to drop someone if they make him do more work than needs be. He's the definition of "Come quietly, make this easy on both of us, or I can't account for the consequences" His interactions with Munch (fave character from that show easily) are still very fun too
