Munch was one of the best Law and Order characters of all time. He was funny, charismatic, and had so much heart when he was on screen. Richard Belzer will forever be remembered, and he will always be in our hearts. R.I.P. to a man who was New York’s finest finest.

John Munch was my second favorite detective on Law and Order, right after Lennie Briscoe. Both of them were the perfect balance of snark and heart and their respective series were never the same after they left. Richard Belzer will always be missed.
