I have the same fins the second ones l have had no problems l have been using them now for 3 seasons .

No not at all who know what city in china they were made lol . Maybe my strapes are harder or softer but they hsve a kink in the starp so when l sinch it down it stays

Just the way the straps broke in and l perfer my straps quit tight just so l can feel if anything is going on. For my wader boots l went cheap and got low cut rubber boots and they work good . But l am going to get proper boots like what you have for river fishing the ankle support is well worth the money for me and my mushie ankles. To many sports growing up lol
