That is about the nicest set of Reel pipes I've ever heard. I've seen 3/4 Highland pipes with bellows in museums and wondered what they would sound like.

I don't think those are reel pipes or 3/4 Highland Pipes. I'm pretty sure those are Border Pipes.

You should also look up Veuzes if you're unfamiliar with them. They're really beautiful sounding and sort of a Breton version of the same pipes.. sort of. They make a zig zag bell on the chanter which is quite a unique look.

@@CaomhanOMurchadha Reel pipes and Border pipes are the same thing but perhaps the difference is idealogical. I'll leave theology for another day .... just ruffling some feathers or deflating some bellows.😉 I do enjoy Swayne's English Border pipes though, a mellow timbre.
