@@avishagisrael6386 maybe you can see the scoreboard at the end. This video is a free routine. There's 3 main scoring. For difficulty (technical aspect, highness of your eggbitter position, leg position). Art impression is for the artistic aspect (choreography, expression). And execution is how well you put those together in the routine, n how synchronized the move. Its kinda tricky n complicated. This goes as well as the technical routine. But for tech. R, there's couple of Requirements of movements that you have to achieve. For artistic swimming, the perfect score is 100. I remember that the highest score in whole olympics is around 98-99(?) @@forevarever generally there's three panels: difficulty, artistic impression, and execution. Height in the water and lifts add to difficulty, as well as distance traveled. Artistic impression can include creative choreography, facial expressions, makeup + hair, etc. Lastly, execution is just how well the techniques (jumps, lifts, hybrids etc.) are performed. Hope that helps!

@@forevarever I might have misunderstood- there are two events. Tech team and free team are two different routines. The final scores are the total score of the two routines. USA did great in free, but they fumbled in tech team. Free team has more creative freedom, but tech has required elements and is more restrictive in what you can do.
@forevarever
@forevarever 3 жыл бұрын
@@srishtipatel561 ohhhhh that makes so much more sense! I interpreted it as each team are judged based on tech + free which then the outcome will be their final score kind of like figure skating and other sports haha. Thank you so much!

@@river6208 I am sorry, but you don’t know what you are talking about. I didn’t see anyone else doing the high splits, double backflips (like a train) one after another, and lifts where the girl jumps like a gymnast on a balance beam and sticks the landing, as well as lifts at the very end and all done with amazing precision. This was a very difficult and demanding routine. Nope! This was stolen from them and I am disgusted that lesser teams like China and Russia (who cheat, btw) got in. I am a judge for synchronized swim and I know what I am talking about. That performance deserved a score close to perfection. Listen to the announcer, even she sees nothing wrong with that routine.
