It’s crazy how stacked the West was back then. So many teams looked legit title contenders and they were amongst 2 of the greatest teams ever in GSW who were starting to blossom and the Spurs who were still so dominant at their climax. The OKC, Clippers, Gritty Grizzs, Rockets, Mavs, hell even the Suns in 9th had a 48-34 record, that would of been equal 3rd in the East but I’d place them higher because of the frequency of stronger competition they faced.

Most fun team to watch back then; young and play hell fast. Those Ibaka blocks that transition to Westbrook or KD dunk were explosive and get the crowd involved. OKC taught today's teams how to manage young players' ego to keep them together. Had Presti known, he would have kept Westbrook ego in check and make it clear this is KD's team, perhaps KD would have stayed and they would have won at least 4 chips. The team was a complete roster: top scorer in KD, top point guard in Westbrook and top defender in Ibaka. WTF more did you need? They made western conference 3 of their 5 yrs together and playoffs all 5 yrs despite young.
