I was so privileged to see this live in Amsterdam while visiting there for 3 months. Come 2018 and 2019 and Schippers seems to be unable to regain this sort of form. Such a shame!

Every athlete reaches a peak age. In women events is usually younger than men. Think of Phelps.... However, there was a famous runner, also a Dutch woman by the way, in the 1950's who ran in her 30's (and after becoming a mother) and she beat records in races and Age records too

Porque Ella es alta y de fisico tan potente parece imbatible, porque su larga zancada la ayuda a reducir distancias con menos pasos. Pero Ella solo puede hacerlo si es rapida tambien. Y si miras a la que consiguio la medalla de Plata, El ser mucho mas bajita no la impidio correr aun dando mas pasos, mas deprisa que las otras con piernas mas largas y fisicos con musculos mas grandes. Al final, es la ligereza con la que corres, y quizas Ella misma es verdaderamente la mas rapida que las demas corredoras, si Todo estuviera igualado en proporciones. Creo haber leido que de Todo El Reino animal, si Todo estuviera Medido en proporciones a sus tamaños, las hormigas no solo son las mas rapidas en cubrir distancias y en resistencia de Fondo (mas aun que aracnidos) sino tambien en fuerza, mas aun que un elefante... como si un Humano pudieran levantar un autobus de 80 plazas, repleto y cargado, y correr con el a la velocidad de una motocicleta de 250 cc
