How great was Jrue Holiday in those final fourth quarter minutes? He played nothing less than awful the first 3 quarters, but then had the guts to take those big shots during clutch time and made them all. Giannis attempted a little too many threes, but a great game from him, though he seemed really tired parts of the game, he played 50 minutes and scored 40! Middleton had a great comeback these last few games from the dismal performance he showed in Games 1 and 2. Brook Lopez was great too, except for not shooting that last shot during in the fourth the Bucks deserve a LOT of credit for pulling this one off! As for KD, playing 53 minutes, scoring 48 points, after injuring an Achilles is just out of the world. The best game of the season so far!

Everyone talks about this game like it was KD playing 1v5. The truth is Harden was 22/9/9, Blake had 17, Brown had 14, and Joe Harris had 10. For the Bucks Khris had 23, Lopez had 17, Holiday had 13, and PJ had 11pts, so outside of KDs and Giannis's performances they both got the same production from their next 4 best players. The difference was the rebounding which led to 2nd chance points for the Bucks, timely stops, and clutch shots. This game was so much more than Giannis vs KD although both were amazing in game 7. On another note, as a Bucks fan that James Harden banked 3 that put the Nets up 5 with 3:50 left was a killer in real time. All momentum went to Brooklyn after that. Many said the Bucks are terrible late in games trailing with Giannis on the court but he dispelled that notion in this series, and this playoff run in general. Not to mention he was the leading 4th quarter scorer this year, and either led in clutch time points or was 2nd to DeRozan. Either way Giannis has come far as a player. Many thought when he won his 2nd MVP leading the Bucks to a 53-9 record going into the bubble that that was his ceiling, but the mad lad continues to get better somehow. Kobe and KG did a great job installing a crazy work ethic in a guy who was already all about the work

I remember when we first traded Bledsoe who was still a solid starting PG, George Hill who was averaging 10ppg off the bench, and 3 1st round picks for Jrue everyone thought we got fleeced. I even had to convince some fellow Bucks fans it was worth it, and boy was it. The scoring wasn't there against Miami and Brooklyn, but his defense and playmaking were definitely apparent. Then when we lost Giannis for games 4-6 against Atlanta, Jrue stepped up big time averaging 26-7-10 in the 3 games Giannis missed. Then the Suns series just speaks for itself. So many clutch defensive stops, and the Valley-Oop to Giannis was just icing on the cake. And he's STILL probably the most underrated PG in the NBA. NBAs official website had him ranked as the 10th best PG and 39th overall player going into this last season. Draymond Green, Tobias Harris, and D-Lo were all ranked ahead of him 🤣

Harden and KD had a five point lead with under 4 minutes to go. If they're "THOSE DUDES", they finish this game, no Kyrie be damned. Sick of the excuses. Milwaukee deserves CREDIT.
@jeffsplur30883 жыл бұрын
If you watch basketball then you know a 5 point lead means nothing especially with 4 minutes on the clock. Now, let’s take into consideration they’re going up against a great defensive team and 2 time mvp.

Hes not better than giannis. He literally shoots it better and thats it. Both HOFers no doubt but giannis scores just as much as KD with a better FG%. Doesnt matter if he mainly does it in the paint when it still counts as 2 points. Better shooter, for sure. More versatile scorer, for sure, better scorer? Its a tie when they both can score 30 on any given night with ease. Plus giannis wins the defense debate, also a better playmaker and rebounder.
@TrueGuardify3 жыл бұрын
@@unknowntrademark9992 Yes KD is a far better scorer for the fact that he is a million times more versatile and a deadly shooter. Giannis is able to produce on the same level as KD because his team is built amazingly with versatile two-way shooters in Jrue Holiday, Middleton, Lopez, and solid role players. KD had no Kyrie, an injured Harden who was honestly a liability and the rest were average to below average role players. To stop Giannis you build a wall and stop him driving, there's no stopping KD. Now if Giannis ever develops a jumpshot or, what I think would be much better for him, solid footwork/a post game, then we can revisit who is better, but in a League that values offense more than defense KD is without a doubt the better player right now, not to mention Durant is a good rebounder and defender too.
