Coach Bud was so great down the stretch in this series. Really changed my perspective on his coaching. Went down 2-0 against the nets, lost game against Atlanta, Giannis got hurt and still wins the series without him, goes down 2-0 against suns in the championship series and comes back with great coaching

I started watching basketball 3 years ago and Giannis’ story just resonated with me so much and i have been a Bucks fan ever since. To go through so much heartbreak the past seasons and finally mane it to the mountaintop was special. I am so happy the Bucks won but i am even happier Giannis won. He deserved it.

As a huge sports fan, and someone who watched Lauren Holiday win the Women's World Cup in 2015, it makes me so happy to see Jrue Holiday have his turn to bring a championship to their family especially after they have been through. I also was rooting for the Suns because of Chris Paul, but seeing Jrue, Giannis, Khris, and the rest of the Bucks win a title in a way that wasn't recruiting a second superstar makes me so happy. Those guys are all class men. One of the most deserved wins I've witnessed. Giannis has an absolute HOF resume already and I'm excited to see what more he does in his career.

I'm not ashamed to admit I'm a casual NBA fan sort of transitioning to being less casual. Part of that is, despite living in a state with a NBA franchise, I have to go a good deal out of my way to watch regular season games. Makes it a bit hard to get super into it. All that being said, I loved this game, I loved this series, and I loved the playoffs. Part of that was Giannis making me a genuine fan of his. I'm so happy for him and the rest of the players. This series has made me want to try harder next year to tune in for games.

Let this be a lesson to all “small-market teams” that yes, it is really hard to find that “franchise cornerstone” especially if you are a team that relies on drafting and pingpong balls BUT once you find that “guy” you do whatever it takes to keep that guy and build aroud him. You always have to give some to get some, give up whatever it takes, even if it means mortgaging your future. The Bucks went all-in on Giannis, they gave up their future to bring in Jrue which in turn made Giannis happy and he signed the supermax extension. They kept building and building around Giannis and never gave up on competing, year after year. Let this be a lesson to those teams that once you find your guy, do whatever it takes, go all-in and if you do it will eventually payoff.

@@tythekid17 it’s not just recency bias to say it’s one of the best finals series ever. After a knee injury, he went on to have 3 40 point games, averaged 35 13 and 5 on 61%. On top of that, he had the game sealing block in 4, the game clinching alley oop in game 5, a 40 point game to give the bucks momentum in game 3, and above all 50 14 and 5 blocks in the close out game. Ill still take Lebrons 2016 run over it, but it’s not crazy to say this might be the greatest finals performance ever

The bucks making the finals/winning wasn’t necessarily surprising just the way it happened was not what we wished….Giannis was amazing as usual, crazy thing is his mid range game is actually solid…that jump hook from 7-10 ft, turnaround post jumper from 10-15 ft, one legged Dirk Fadeaway from 13-16 ft, and pull up mid range jumper from 15-20 ft are lowkey turning into go to shots of his
