Kevin Durant tallied 26 points, 7 assists, and 2 rebounds for the Suns. The Spurs improve to 2-2 on the season, while the Suns fall to 2-2.

Felt the same way. It was an extremely slow comeback for the Spurs since the start of the 4th quarter and I think Spurs did a great job defensively while at the same time the Suns showing some lackadaisical offense. Even with Durant on the floor, I love the hustle of Vassell, Wembanyana and Johnson. Good win for the Spurs, though!

I like this Spurs team, man. Vassell is a heck of a player. Seemed like a real quagmire game for the Suns - got out to a crazy early lead against a team they should thrash. But the Spurs are young, and they arent expected to win anything, so there's no pressure, and they can just go out and run their sets, and try to play better, and grind it out bc win or lose, all that they are trying to do is play well - while the Suns got to spend almost three quarters going 'we cant lose to this team...can we?' with the weight of their playoff expectations on their shoulders. That's a lot! Especially for a team missing their actual back court, which forced Durant into that weird point-forward position that he has the skills for, but not the inclination. There wasnt anyone running the offense tonight for the Suns, and it cost them badly in the 4th.
