If you were that smart buddy you’d take the better passer in penix who is also a lefty which means we no longer need a premier left tackle cuz Mike is already paid to protect his blindside. Two birds one stone. Add in the trade back draft capital gains and yeah it’s clearly penix that’s the best choice. This enables us to focus on weapons early rounds instead of a left tackle 🍻 big 🧠

Yeh hopefully they learned from their mistakes and create a situation where he can reach his ceiling. Macs ceiling was his rookie season. It wouldn’t have made him a SB QB even with a great O-Line and elite receivers. That doesn’t change the fact that he was/is an average QB. Mayes ceiling is massive so if we give him time to adjust and create a good even average situation the sky is the limit for Maye. The upside is way too high to pass. Macs upside was/is barely at the NFL level and even on an elite team he will NEVER win an SB for you! EVER! I REPEAT MAC JONES WILL NEVER WIN A SB. Even if he had Barkley at rb Mixon as the back, Ceedee Lamb as 1, Chase at 2, JJ at 3 and the best Oline we’ve ever seen! He may get there but hes winning the ship! Maye has that potential 100%

The same 5 QBs have been to the super bowl the last 4 years let’s be honest to think you going to be the lucky 1 is crazy. Build a good team then get your QB to put him in the best situation his first 4 years before his contract. These maybe 3 elite QBs 5 good ones then the rest are just okay.

Mayes ceiling… his CEILING is Josh Allen who hasn’t done anything even with a stacked defense and stephon diggs. Diggs himself said Allen is nothing without him. Which… before they traded for diggs was also true… why tf would we be even remotely interested in that? Not to mention we are rivals with buffalo. Why we want a wannabe Josh Allen when we are playing Josh Allen? These maye clowns are mental. Penix is better and not only that he solve two issues with ONE pick. QB and LT. Because penix is a lefty. Which means big Mike is ALREADY PAID to protect his blindside. We no longer NEED a premier left tackle with a lefty QB. This opens the door for focus on weapons early rounds. Add in the draft capital gains from trading back for penix and it’s a no brained. It’s a win, win, win situation.

Penix does terrible under pressure. Literally TERRIBLE. Why are we here? TO WIN SUPER BOWLS! You will not win a super bowl with a pure passer (unless he completely elevates the team which is 1/1,000,000 aka Tom Brady). Look at the QBs who have gone and won SBs….I’ll wait….thats right guys like Mahomes, Jalen Hurts, Burrow (when he needs to). You need someone who is more dynamic than a pocket passer!!!! Thats all Penix does and hes damn good at it but he will NEVER win a SB. The objective is to win a damn SB! Er go you need a dynamic guy who can do a ton of different things. The potential for Maye to do these things is really high. He may do it, he may not but at the end of the day Id rather gamble with a guy that has a ton of potential to be the guy that could win a SB versus a pure passer or a game manager. They have good careers but DO NOT win SBs anymore unless you are Tom Brady (TB is not happening again and we need to stop searching for that). Maye is the best option for us hands down. After that its up to the team to create a situation where this potential materializes….Point Blank! I want SBs not playoff wins not relevancy…SUPER BOWLS! You need a dynamic guy to do that and Drake’s ceiling to do this is super high so you gotta do it no question.
