+FL.Remix They are tied for first for me. Primal Dialga is a classic theme that made you feel the pressure of the situation. But this new one is PERFECT!!!! I honestly like this one better, but Primal Dialga is a great theme and an iconic one. In terms of the music, this one is better, but as far as story goes, they are even.

This theme is absolutely fantastic, but Primal Dialga still stands at the top for me, just barely. Now is it just me, or are we starting to hear Pokemon soundtracks lean toward the Kingdom Hearts OST style? First Zinnia's theme, and now this theme has elements that sound like Kingdom Hearts themes.

Man this battle was intense for me. Every attack was bringing me down to below half HP (with reflect on btw) and I was blazing through my stash or oran berries and reviver seeds like mad as I threw out attack after attack, waving the petrify wand every time confusion happened to get rid of that. I got down to 1 seed before this thing went down. It was the most epic final boss I've ever faced, all with my precious partner by my side.

The first theme sounds very Kirby like, while the second theme seems to incorporate parts from kingdom hearts, xenoblade, and some almost unrecognizable parts from the metroid soundtacks, while still keeping the feel of pokemon mystery dungeon. A perfect theme for whatever the final boss is in the game (no spoilers please). P.S. Props to the person who finds the metroid-esque parts in the theme.

I can't believe they brought back all 3 maps from the all the other MD games they made back then! It's so cool how they just combined all the maps from past MD games into one whole map in this game w/ the 6 continent islands. I also can't believe that they even brought back Primal Dialga's theme from MD T/D/S! As epic as this boss was and how good this music was, I was disappointed with dark matter. I easily beat it, wasn't really a challenge imo. I used, like, two Oran berries. Idk if I was overleveled or something. Either way, this theme is amazing and just PSMD in general was a fantastic game.

I don't know if Mario/Zelda final boss themes have somehow spoiled me or something, but both this and FE:A's final boss songs feel...wrong. The best way I can describe it is: Final bosses are supposed to be "I'm going to rule/destroy the world, and you're the only thing standing in the way!" The songs are "the world had hope that you will succeed, will that hope carry you to the end?" Plot-wise, the songs make sense, but I feel like they should have been in a cut-scene or something, with some ominous music as the real final boss theme.

Okay, I really had my hopes up for this song based on the fanboy/girling down below, but I was extremely disappointed. AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO DOESN'T THINK THIS SOUNDTRACK IS GOOD?! (I did like that dungeon theme with the cellos, though, I think it might've been a volcano dungeon theme...the rest are really bland and all sound kinda the same, though. i think the soundtrack is good. Not as amazing as the first two games, but it's definitely improved in instrumentation, and it's better than gates to infinity. I think the addition of rock-y stuff in the second phase of the final boss doesn't really fit all that well, but the rest of it was extremely nice to me. I enjoyed all the motifs and such. Maybe it's music taste...

Something secret person-san I really like the dungeon themes, but I dislike how they reused a lot of GTI's (although they were really good) as fillers. I did like the remixes (especially of Amp Plains) though. The boss themes were what disappointed me, and I usually love them. I'm not sure if it actually is music taste (although X and Y's really disappointed me) because I really like all kinds of music, I just have really sensitive ears and can find something wrong with almost every song that I like. I also don't think it was a bad song, but it really could have been changed in terms of musicality to be better and fit the boss more.
