Unlucky. Good deck, but ran into an absolutely stacked deck with amazing draws. I think playing the second involuntary employment over the goblin surprise makes sense, you stated the reason you're really playing goblin surprise is for fodder, but I'd rather the fodder be the opponents best creature, and they cost the same after the treasure. Really needed one more ghoul. Did you consider boarding in hidestugu? Surprisingly good win rate in BR (same as fiery annihilation) and in a race like this maybe worth it.

@@colinturner3060 My thoughts: There is a higher risk of running 2nd employment than goblins when you don't draw your sac enablers. We didn't have that many. I like a ratio of 1 threaten per 3 sac. 2 if you got 5+.

it's just variance. The more you play, the bigger the sample size, and you experience all the outcomes. We all, myself included, let our emotional side take over sometimes, and that’s where all the complaining comes from.

oh well. Quite unlucky openers vs a good deck :-(. P1P1 I really like Helpful Hunter. It's a cheap good creature which helps me smoothing my draws/ getting my lands, which I value in Bo3 without the handsmoother even more. But I totaly understand the Tragic Banshee. It's just that the 5 drop slot(s) is so easy to fill. P1P2 ofc abrade is quite good, but it's not performing crazy for me. Refute on the other hand is just a house and I think I would have taken it over abrade. Or maybe even Eagle if I had taken the Helpful Hunter since it's one of the best cards in the set period in one of the best archetypes. But with the eagle you quite frequently will loose your P1P2 if UW isn't there. GG

not attacking with the siphoner when you had goblin surprise up was just a bizzare misplay imo. overall unforunate draws over the two drafts

If they block with a 3/3 it's straight up a 1 for 2 with a tempo loss- we are left without a board. Unless we play mind games- which is an argument for your case. Game wasn't at a point where we have to play for big risk/high rewards outs imo.

Terrible draws, mulliganning game 1 and 2 hurts. Not picking both dragon trainers p2p7 was surprising. That card is so insane, especially in RB. And then not sideboarding it into the deck vs UW fliers was even worse.

Thanks for the feedback (though it came across as a bit arrogant). I agree that boarding in Dragon Trainer is valid and something I should have considered. That said, I still find the card underwhelming overall and wouldn't prioritize a second copy, especially with several stronger 5-drops already in the pool.

@@dafore_ Hey Sorry for the insensitive wording. Didn't mean it that way, English isn't my first language. I was just mentioning the points which i thought were slight misplays. At the end of the day to be honest this was just terrible luck for you, your deck was probably the best that could have been drafted in your seat. not much to be done in the face of an opponent with insane deck which is backed by insane draws
