Bowser has had a lot of incredible themes like in Super Mario 64 and both Super Mario Galaxies. But this one in my opinion takes the cake. The orchestral intensity makes it feel like you are up against a giant monster and like you do in the game, you don’t fight it, you run away because you can’t stop it.

This theme always stood out to me. Especially the bell. It just sounds so… malevolent. That’s the word I’ve found that describes it best. It’s like you’re up against evil itself.

Bowser gets huge and chases you through his castle, you need to have Bowser destroy a path for you while also evading him and waves of lava to reach Peach.

It’s not exactly jaw dropping. Bowser gets big and you have to jump across a destroyed platform while he chases you.

Wait for a true Final Boss from Top Gun Maverick and it is Hangman and he is 250 times more difficult than Bowser on Phase 2 Giant Bowser then Wait for Phase 34 of 34 and you only have 1 Life as Bowser and mess this up and It is a tragic ending of Evil King Bowser once and for all!
