Great video man I subscribed! Im currently shooting a Bear Legit just because like you said it basically depends on who you are and what you like so. My Legit isn't the fastest (315 fps) but still not a bad bow. I plan on upgrading to Mathews in the future forsure. I love Mathews also. Good video.

@@laken_farms You are absolutely right! Bear does a great job with price point bows! I think starting with a Bear or something similar in price is the best way to get into archery. Good luck this season and I hope you can get a good deal on a Mathews at some point!

@@benny4B11 There are so many good options out there right now it’s hard to say. The Phase4 29, Lift 29.5, and even the VXR 31.5 are all on the list. Maybe Mathews will drop something really good this year and I’ll go with that. Do you have any suggestions?

@@joelculpepperoutdoors4262I shoot Easton axis 5mm arrows 340 spine 420 grains and I get pass throughs on hoggs deer. I have not hunted elk yet but I will still use that arrow. Wt a sharp fixed blade broadhead. How do you like those arrows? That your shooting
@joelculpepperoutdoors42622 ай бұрын
@@wcwcgarner2717 I really like the Sonic 6.0 for deer because they are light and cheap. They also hold up really well for being some of the lightest arrows on the market. If I was hunting elk, I’d shoot Victory RIP sport arrows. They are light GPI with a 60 grain stainless insert to boost FOC and the sports come in at about $110 for a dozen. I shot those some in the off season and they perform very well.

Dude Hoyt VTM is 31 and could probably get it right now $1000 maybe lower. You racked your brains over a bow just to settle on what you already had your gonna be grey headed by the time your 20
