It just amazes me how influencers, KZbinrs and celebrities can spend so much money on clothes, shoes or purses without blinking an eye while I’m over here thinking if I should buy it or not if I’m gonna wear it or not

It depends i guess on what amount of money you find comfortable spending at. I not rich and i have a self made rule of not buying anything with a total over 25$ a month or 2$ an item (converted from my country) and this pandemic made me impulse buy so many things without thinking as long as it was somewhat near my "budget" it was my stress reliever with everything thats going on in my live. I have to clean out those too buy hey ill make them christmas presents

@@Heeyitsmika I see your point but there are some influencers, KZbinrs and celebrities who will spend so much money to “fit in” or to keep up with the trends. It just amazes me that they will spend money without blinking an eye. If you watched Gabi’s volg (Niki’s sister) she did an unboxing video of a Chanel advent calendar that she spent $1200 on from a consignment store. And all the gifts were freaking sample sizes of lipstick, nail polish, stickers, patches and a sample size of the Chanel •5 perfume. Both her and her best friend Kenny tried so hard to look happy with the things they got but it seems very clearly that they were disappointed. Now, this is from my perspective of being subscribed to both Niki and Gabi and they both spend their money on different things. It just amazes me that they have no problem spending money especially $1200 on an advent that Gabi will probably put up in her attic after Christmas. While I’m over hear making sure I’m not spending too much on 4 products of skincare type stuff at Ulta.

@@Dannaboy23 i get you and why youre feeling that way. But you should also remember that the amount of money we earn and have as extra is not the same as them. We earn significantly less therefore we have to be more mindful of what we buy, they do not need to be. They have this abundance of savings/aernings that they can purchase what they want without the immediate guilt of spending the amount of money they did. Hypothetically, if you were in their shoes have a consistent overflow of money so much that you dont need to think about the necessities for lets say 6-8 years add to the fact that your family was already well off to begin with, you too would create this "numbness" or indifference to a specific amount of money you will spend on things regardless if it ends up being a flop or not.

@@Dannaboy23 I have like friends of different levels of "richness" and ive always never hesitated on asking them about their spending habits, so ive learned few of their logic and mindset along the way. Im the poorest in all my friend group, so the way the spend and how they handle money is reallly one big curiousity for me. :) I have a feeling it may apply to influencers and youtubers too. (One friend impusilvely made a down payment on a jeep because she thought it was cute, and U can seriously say thats an influencer move)

I hope that influencers who shop realize that reducing consumption is a huge part of fighting climate change and changing the overall behavior of getting things you don’t actually need just because you can or think it’s cute. I’m appreciative that these clean outs are at least getting sold to others. I would really love to see them getting donated to people who can’t afford more expensive clothing but would still like to get into fashion and express themselves that way

Feeling blessed that she feels comfortable to admit to her mistake of shopping addiction getting worse in quarantine that not just her job and love of fashion. I hope it Will get better in 2022 and you Will buy things you actually like and Can use for a Long time, instead of just buying into trends and getting rid off it When the trend is over. i don’t know if anyone knows this but taurus’ have a ‘excess’ trait! they usually have addictive personalities, hyperfixate, or overindulge! i always saw it in gabi with designer items and i was like omg she’s such a taurus and never saw it in niki but this is definitely niki’s taurus showing! more examples: nikocado and his food videos, trisha paytas and her shopping and eating habits

Well she did say she has ADHD, everything you listed is also present in ADHD plus its hereditary so Gabi may have it too. I don't actually often see/hear people mention how much we need stimulation and activity, and some things that can happen when we are understimulated so that sentence was a pleasant surprise. It's not really a Taurus thing, nor is it a "personality" trait of any sort just how someone's brain may function.
