Do you have a video for dealing with HDR footage? I feel like my videos are so mushy when I try to edit and export them from HDR. I found another video about it but I found it highly complicated. Helped a bit.

The problem with this app is that even when you delete the videos, it continues to take up storage space. They need to fix this urgently!

HEVC Log is an amazing concept. My concern is how does it grade if it's still 8 bit 4:2:0? I'd imagine Log still breaks easily with that codec. I wish there were an HEVC 10 bit 4:2:2 as you can do with Sony cameras for example. Have you tried grading the Log HEVC from the iPhone?

Nice rundown of the FCC Update. My iPhone 11 does not shoot in LOG. Do you think it's worth it to shoot with FCC or stick with the stock camera app?

@@eastbayjay the benefit of total white balance control makes it worth it! But it’s definitely more suited for when you need more control over your image. The base camera app is much better for quickly getting a video shot.

I had no idea there was such a thing as Final Cut Camera. Genuine question: why? Does it tie into FCP in any helpful way that the native phone camera doesn’t, or offer anything beyond BlackMagic’s app? While you described the update well the, I’m still missing why the app matters?
