The nerd in me appreciates that the title deciding games for the home teams were also relegation deciding games for the away teams, and that the home and away kits worn by the teams were almost the same as well. You could switch between matches and not be sure which game you were watching! Also, You came up two points and goals scored away from four titles in a row. Football eh, bl**dy hell.

I agree, seen successful iterations of this with one or both of the AMs on support and it works well. The RPM does ok but the amount that the right hand side gets shredded by teams suggests maybe a regista or back to a DLP for big games?

FYI, 4-2-2-2 with 2DM always outperformed 4-2-2-2 with 1DM 1CM for me, especially when utilizing a playmaker role (as in DLP or RPM used as DM over CM)

@@careychurchillkenarthur5478 rpm will always give the ball away as this is essentially what 'more risky passes' individual instruction does. Combine it with play into space team inatruction and you'll see your passes have quite low average completion. Personally i no longer utilize RPMs unless i have 20 passing/vision/decision guy, because you don't really need dedicated playmaker if you can wing it with DM + Vol pairing (or regista + vol)

City got 98, Lpool got 97 so not the highest 2nd place pts total, people forget city were 2-0 down to villa that day too. Think the scored 3 between the 70-80 min mark to clinch it, also Salah scored late to give Lpool the win after city came back. Underrated final day! Hope you win Champions League Jack regardless just wanted to clarify the above cause of your commentary :)

Man, the last day drama, four years in a row. I'm in the 8th tier with sutton common rovers, we have won 18 games in a row and are still second the Leatherhead, who seemingly cannot lose either. They are my Man City. Maybe Haaland will retire or go to MLS or Saudi next year.
