July 15, 1997, is the death of one of the most important icons of Italian fashion. One of the men behind the famous "fashion square" in Milan. One of those thanks to whom this city can today claim to rival Paris.
The Italian designer Gianni Versace is assassinated with two bullets in the head in front of his house in Miami Beach, Florida. He is the victim of a mysterious assassin Andrew Cunanan.
Gianni Versace was at the head of a luxury empire worth more than 560 million dollars.
That day, the entire international fashion world and all of Italy mourn the death of the designer.
Versace left behind a colossal legacy that causes many conflicts in his entourage.
