Я думаю что это альтернативное окончание Алекса Браунинга, не только спасает Клер и Картера, а может остановить и все другие гибели, которые произошли в других финальных дистанциях. И все бы остальные люди в следующих дистанциях остались бы живые. И Алекс стал бы настоящим героем.
