@@charlestetreault739 Like I said, competitive was a mess, but they got everything else perfect. Subspace was a masterpiece, and the music the game has to offer is easily the best in the series. Brawl's FD theme is easily the best original Smash piece of all time.

@@charlestetreault739 One more thing in regards to Smash's 2 story modes. World of Light is the Incredibles 2 of Smash in the sense that in comparison to Subspace, it's a tedious, boring mess that missed why the previous story was so great. The gameplay actually broke off from what it normally offered, and the villain was legitimately intimidating, partially because in the beginning, the other villain characters served as red herrings to keep the player guessing as to who's the big baddie until Tabuu is finally revealed as the true mastermind behind everything. With WoL, however, Galeem and Dharkon are both the embodiment of the power scaling problem found in anime, which is one of the most common traps when writing a good villain, which is to give them power, but not in a traditional way. While Tabuu certainly had his share of raw power, what I think made him the most intimidating was that beforehand, you had no clear indicator of who you were going to be clashing with by the time the dust settled. And the ones you did fight were always greater than the last threat. World of Light's big guys are just power-tripping entities with the attitudes of fucking children. If they had set aside their differences and established a common enemy to work against, then they much more than likely could've won. But no. They didn't. I have a lot more problems with WoL, but I suppose I should stop rambling about my opinions, lol

@@JrIcify yeah. Didnt even know there was a competitiveness to it. Took down level 3 cpus and thought I was a god amongst mortals. Made crappy stages with the stage maker. Was moved by the story. Introduced me to many franchises like metal gear, sonic (surprisingly), mother, etc. Brawl raised me pretty much.
