Final Details On Arcade1Up Claw Machine Announced?

@PDubsArcadeLoft The community has been expressing for several years now what they want. Yet, this company continues to make silly products like the Casinocade, Giant Joysticks, horrible looking little arcade cabinets, and now this?? It is really a simple formula for them to follow. The Pacman XL is arguably one of their best cabinets. You would think they would acknowledge by now that golden era XL sized cabinets that resemble the actual arcade would definitely be the direction they should go! Are the people running the show at that company now brain-dead? Just WOW!!

If I get this I would brand it the Inspector Gadget, Claw Machine, equipped with Dr Claw and MAD cat side art. Put in an Inspector Gadget stuffy covering the mechanism with the claw coming out of its hand. That’s money right there!

Pretty excited about the claw machine. Been really close to buying that Vevor claw machine for a couple years, but just couldn't bring myself to do it because of the smaller form factor. The A1U looks like it'll be a great fit and something the kids and non-gamer friends will enjoy.

I have a 800 square-foot arcade belt with 21 arcade one up and other machines and my daughter would absolutely love this claw machine so if it works good and as a decent quality when reviews come out, I will definitely be grabbing one and I have not bought arcade one up in three years

You touched on it perfectly. No licensing on the machine would allow for more investment into better quality parts. We all know the aftermarket guys will have art packages. Also, this is something people have wanted for years, so they’re listening… I think?

You can find full sized commercial claw machines for $400-500 pretty easily if you have the room.

Hi PDubs! I've been waiting for them to make this. I used to tell John D back a year or two ago. Hope the marquee lights up. Would be nice to be able to put small plush stuffed animals in there or something. Remember the Arcade1up plush that they use to have?

I’ll most likely go for it unless the initial reviews reveal some glaring flaw I can’t deal. The kids will go nuts and nearly every arcade I’ve ever been to has one. But… QC is my redline and if A1U puts out a broken dunce it’ll represent the last of the petty cash they ever get from me.

I don't think it's a bad thing. They have to mix it up a little bit. Hopefully, by doing that, they bring newer people into the video arcade market. So, they brought out, XMEN 97, NBA Jam Slim, This Pac-Man Plus, Golden Tee/Midway XL, Class of 81 Pub Table, and a few other things. Every video at the beginning of this year by other KZbinrs said they were done and going under, little did they know.

Thank you so much PDubs for the update. But I will most likely skip this one. I have the VEVOR Prize Claw and it works great, easy to maintain, and works like a mini commercial grade for home use. Only people playing will be guests basically or kids. If you have 500 $ to spend. It's a nice decoration, it completes a game room/home bar.
