I personally think it’s great having both of you (James and Michael) undertaking the delivery of the content for the channel. You are both similar but unique at the same time, and offer different perspectives on what is clearly an extremely complex business 👏🏻

With lots of respect and cred to James, this KZbin channel is so informative and great mix of perspectives. But I find these last blogs even more appealing! Shorter glimpses with the equipment and different actions in the background. Also riding along with the operators mixed with drone views synced with the operator voice over! Great editing and even more entertaining!!

Tom needs a mention for his filming and editing skills, a level above most farming blogs. Having said that it must be easy documenting such a fabulous team, I am missing James’s shrill shrieking laughter, great job by all once again.

What a great way to end the weekend. Glynn is a star, great commentatory about the drilling. Micheal has done a good job of presenting the show whilst James is away. Good all round team work. It shows that farming is a way of life, not just a job. I wish our politicians realised that. Thanks to you all, look out James, you may have to work hard now to catch up with Michael's weight loss. Looking forward to the next video.

What I like is that PX Farms are prepared to experiment with drilling and you showed us three different ways of doing it. They say the eight most expensive words in agriculture are 'but we have always done it that way' and you folks certainly don't let things stay the same for long. 👍 I like the simplicity of that Avatar SD which means it is less likely to get clogged with mud or trash. Its almost like its a modern but much larger Massey 30 but designed for bulk bags.

Another great videos Michael and you are doing some hands on work spreading the slug pellets, I suspect yourself and James could do any job on tne farm unlike most farm bosses that is one reason you have a great relationship with all the team as you and James know the farming industry so well. I hope James is having a geat time with his family and the farm is most definitely in good hands without a doubt, and well done to Tom for his camera skills a fantastic job.

Cousin Michael you have done s brilliant job James has competition now lol When I was younger I was told never to drill winter corn until the 20th Oct. I drilled my modest 10ha on Thursday into fantastic conditions it dried off and was rolled on Sat. I have neighbours that drilled 3 weeks ago and the headlands are rutted and bare and the crop looks sick. I think James might be surprised at the yields next summer. I think you should have been even more patient some of what you forced won't be as good as now. A big plus is a massive increase in Blackgrass control.

Thanks. V interesting. I was wondering if the drills ever go wrong while you’re drilling in that they stop dropping the seed into the ground? Is there an alarm that goes off or is the first you know somethings gone wrong is when there’s gaps in the germination?

This is how farming should be you have had not bad harvest and the drilling season had that awful rain in October but to see you are nearly drilled up that’s good news you can’t really afford to waste the window of opportunity time has gone holding back for a bit more overtime you only pay it in taxes my belief if conditions are there just crack on and be shy with the throttle
