Investigating whether it's possible to go from 21t (standard) front and 45t rear to 23t front and 51t (standard) rear. I somehow got it into my head big sprockets will make everything smoother. Main problem is the inner sprocket cover is too small, but I think I can live without that.

Yea brother 💪 thats why I went with 45 rear n 22 front bkuz of the dumb cover already scrapes it, I know somebody that went 23 front on KZbin but they had to grind some things off 2 make it fit 🤙 make sure you put locktite to secure it the bolts almost came out on mine😅🍻🤟

Loctite Red on everything! It's the only language Ironheads understand. Was that the back sprocket? I had the devils' own job getting mine to stay on tight, part of the ritual was checking the rear sprocket bolts, but it hasn't been a problem recently.

yea the rear sprocket, the front comes with a locking washer so not much of problem there, you should grease the brake lever it shouldn't be stiff like dat even if you got spring there, it should move freely. 🍻👍

@@Keepitmooving It's the inner bush causing the stiffness. It's slightly too big (one I had lying around; I hacksawed a few mm off to get it flush) and I'm waiting for it to wear in a bit.

That inner plate can help minimize damage to your gearbox case if the chain ever lets go. I keep mine on. That 23 front sprocket might hit other stuff in there, a 22 is a better option, with a 48 maybe on the rear
