Portugal doesn't play well against teams that park the bus. You saw that against Czechia and now Slovenia. Turkey played more attacking football, gave them space, and they won 3 - 0. I suspect France will try to play high with control and Portugal can really hurt them. We'll see.. but I'll lean towards Portugal on this one. On the rest of the predictions I agree with you.

Great prediction, the reasoning was solid! Spain did win over Germany, but Germany played better, so it was a good call, too bad they didn't have more luck. France win, it was close, but they were also quite unlucky the whole time. Two match is pending. Switzerland are now people favourite and I can see why. But you need to consider they have Hungary score a goal against them and it was almost two. Italy was a weak opponent for them despite its name. England might got his boost from winning against Slovakia. I am kind of rooting for Switzerland, but I think England will step their game up. Turkey match, I think they gas out, as you pointed out, they are not as well structured as a team, they should be more economy friendly. :)

That might be happened just like Slovakia did for the most of the game, until poor England got a "Black Magic" thing in the extra time. Spain vs Germany game was essentially the "Final". Southgate simply meant that he missed 2021 Kalvin Phillips, who was amazingly effective for England. But that guy has disappeared, his career basically ruined by going to Man City, where he's barely played for them, and probably ended up depressed, out of shape and (as we've seen at West Ham) out of form. But to anyone who's forgotten what a machine Phillips was in the Euro 2020 tournament, watch some highlights of the matches. He was excellent. Suited their system perfectly.

If England make it to the final, it will be nothing short of a miracle. Beating Slovakia in the last minute was clutch. Beating Switzerland if they play as well as they have been, would require so much bullshit luck it wouldn't be funny. Then beating whoever wins between NL/Turkiye, it would have to be a seriously lucky run for England to get to the final, and well... They would get absolutely destroyed in the final I'm sure. French person here, I honestly wanna give my point of view on our team because this is just ridiculous. How did we manage to get to quarter finals without scoring a single goal? Honestly I have no idea because I thought our team would be ready, would have that mentality to score goals and sweep easily towards the final. But we didn't, even with the return of Kanté we've been underwhelming this entire tournament... Every french kept saying, "Oh yeah, we're gonna top our group because it's one of the easier ones", but we couldn't even score a single goal against Netherlands when to my knowledge we have beaten them before... Poland gave us a draw which without counting the penalties was a goalless game, and we only beat Austria because of their OG... Seriously, how did we get to the Ro16 this easily? After that was Belgium. Now I'm not trying to say Belgium isn't a bad or a good team when they played us these last couple of years, but I still feel like they performed better than us. We've been playing bad and completely missed all of our chances, had to get an OG AGAIN to advance now to face Portugal... I don't think we'll get further than that though. Portugal has had a better performance than us in group phase, not only that but they also beat us AT HOME in Euro 2016. BUT, you can't disregard the fact the France squad was different back then, yeah now we have Mbappé and stuff but we're still struggling to score a single time. Makes me really question Deschamps' choices, because everyone here in France has been waiting for him to put Barcola in the starting XI (he did with Poland which was a really good performance from Bradley!! He shouldn't have subbed him off in my opinion) I don't know how this quarter final will play out. I have a gut feeling that Ronaldo will score and get Portugal the win. That's just how it's gonna play out, and it will at least let the French team get their stuff back together so they can get better for the next World Cup. The only good players I've seen so far have been our guardian Maignan, Koundé, Kanté, Saliba and Théo Hernandez. Other than that we've been very poor. Best of luck to both teams though, hopefully we'll see some ACTUAL goals this Friday

​@tiemen5791 Dumfries literally made a crazy foul on one of our players that he couldn't even breath and was taken to the ambulance and the ref did absolutely nothing and near the end when it was 0-1 we had a chance to counter and the ref whistle a foul that was not even a foul, lets be realistic a bit, i knew we were gonna lose but at least get someone capable to referee, he got a 4 by the Spanish and is criticised by the mistakes he kept committing, even Ballack said the first and 3rd goal were mistakes.
