You said it Danelle , sometimes it’s not about the fishing , that’s just the excuse we use to go to some stunning shorelines and see some amazing things that you don’t see at home in the armchair!!! Cracking day out you had , appreciate your efforts,take care 🎣✌🏼

A chinook, pod of dolphins, family of swans, seals, lure caught fish, and a smiling Hinny! What more could we ask for - maybe another excerpt from one of your gigs😏 Look forward to your next adventure and don’t put the lure rig away just yet - its only just October.

Thanks Greg, yeh what a day 🤩 The lures are on standby 😆 would have been ideal today with this lush weather 🌞

Lovely watch. I took the grandbairn fishing up there a month back. The seals were there as were the dolphins. He didn’t catch anything but the dolphins came past extremely close in. He managed a couple of pics on his phone which made up for the lack of fish.

Hi Danielle , Wow that helo was low you could nearly touch it , yes its a codling , another well presented video , i see you stepping up on you safety by wearing a life jacket ( good for you ) especially when your on your own , so take care till the next tight lines
@fishinghinnyАй бұрын
Thanks Steve Yeh it nearly rattled my teeth loose 😆 I’m taking the life jacket to wear at the places I’m at most at risk, it’s not even noticeable to wear - I think more people should be wearing them 😊👍

Good one Danielle 😊 a fish is a fish , no matter how big 😊. My granddaughter found a recipe 4 stay squid, nagged me to go after squid, fished the marina, caught 15 plus 3 cuttlefish, she cooked them 4 me & my daughter, O M G ,so good 😊 put small squid in freezer 4 bait , not wearing P F D 😮 on that mark 😮.Happy catching from Australia Nick 🇦🇺

Hi Nick That’s great - I think when you eat what you catch, it always seems to taste nicer 👌 I did have a life jacket on, it’s the same colour as my jacket so hard to see 🤩👍

Another good video Danielle! I was up at Eyemouth a fortnight ago off the rocks next to the golf course, had 27 mackerel and the lad next to me must've had easily th e same. I put mine back after cleaning one on the rocks and seeing it full of worms put me off eating them but still great fun. At least you didn't blank🐟 tight lines!
@fishinghinnyАй бұрын
Thanks Ryan It nearly always produces Mackerel through the summer, but just not on that occasion for me 🤷🏻♀️ There’s always next year 🤩👍
@ashleyhoward8926Ай бұрын
I was in Eyemouth the other day, I caught Haddock & chips ! Well done Hinny, a lovely day to be out & full marks or wearing the new life-jacket. I think that might have been a tiny codling, but the chinook was my new drone & I'll be keeping an eye on you !
@fishinghinnyАй бұрын
Haha, I wondered who was controlling that thing, not so low next time eh - I nearly had kittens 😆🫣

I’d be happy watching the dolphins in the morning and fishing later on Looks bright but chilly Thoroughly enjoyable video as always 🎣 I agree re the NGT tackle Great value for money I’ve got their little telescopic NGT with reel for the car boot (from Go Outdoors)
@fishinghinnyАй бұрын
Thanks Robert Yeh it was a little chilly, but the sunshine made up for it. I’ll have to have a look up at GoOutdoors, I’ve not been for a while, that’s where I bought the little pink rod from originally. I didn’t realise they do the NGT gear too 👍

I've got a bad habit in the summer, bait fish, float fish & lure fish. It's a bugger when all 3 go at the same time. I paid £45 for a new float/lure rod, which I ain't managed to christen yet. But, I got a couple of spinning rods and reels at Boyes quite cheaply, over the last couple of years. Dolphins, seals, swans with cygnets and a Chinook helicopter. Not forgetting the bit sport with small fish.
@fishinghinnyАй бұрын
Thanks David Yeh it’s tricky once there is more than one rod out, I do like to stick a float out when I’m spinning occasionally too. Was happy with those small fish, better than a blank 🤩👍

How dare dolphins and seals turn up to the places where Danielle wanted to fish 😂. Don't they know she has KZbin content to do. Cheeky buggers 😂. At least you had half a decent session and an awesome close up of a Chinook ❤❤
@fishinghinnyАй бұрын
Haha, I didn’t mind sharing my space with the wildlife Stephen. I really like to see things like that when I’m fishing, even if it means less fish for me 🤩👍

Think that is a poor cod or a little cod, there are tons in eyemouth at the moment
@fishinghinnyАй бұрын
Ah thank you I did think it might be a poor cod but wasn’t sure, I’m sure I’ve had one of those before too 👍🎣
@derekbilton1776Ай бұрын
Its not a poor cod, its just a small codling, colours vary dramatically depending where you catch them. Reds in kelp, spotted like the one in video around rocks etc etc. hope this helps
@johndingwall1210Ай бұрын
Yes little codling
@fishinghinnyАй бұрын
Thanks John It was a pretty little thing, unusual markings on it 👍

@@fishinghinny I normally catch quite a few of those small codling of the Edinburgh shoreline during the winter whilst targeting other species . They have similar markings .
