I remembered when I used to have so many problems, I used to cry a lot at night. My friend Misa would always ironically call me on the phone around those times and he'd play that song for me to help me sleep... Sometimes 3 o clock in the morning. Sometimes 4 in the morning... He's like a brother or even a soul mate to me. Even though I'm really sad that he's going some where far away. This is a song that will always remind me of him. I will forever miss and cherish him and this song.

Anyone who's getting stuck at 1:20, the right hand plays 2 notes for every 3 notes in the left hand. So the 3rd right hand note should start at the same time as the 4th left hand note, and then just balance the notes in between to make it sound even.

Let's see, what helped me the most was, I would start off slowly beat with your hands but the beat must be syncopating. Then if you get used to it you can start to speed up.

you can do the cord in 0:28 by using your right hand for the right octave and use your left hand for the 5 cord. the left cord is pretty hard since you have to spread your fingers really wide

can someone tell me how people learn from a synthesa like this one? I'm not a real painist and I know to most of you this is pretty easy to follow along but I'm having trouble. Do you guys pause it or something?

I don't learn from synthesia, I read sheet music. If you want to learn from this, though, you have to do it slow. If I were to learn this the same way I were to practice sheet music, I'd take it step by step. Divide the song into parts, and learn it part by part. I'd separate the first part into 0:00 to 0:07. That should take a minute at most to get down. play the video and play along over and over from 0:00 to 0:07 until you get it down. Then learn 0:08 to 0:11. Once you get that down, practice it together, so that it's one part, 0:00 to 0:11 then practice 0:11 to 0:15. once you get that down, practice it together, from 0:00 to 0:15.

Dunno how to read sheet music either, been self taught for about a year What I do is listen, and watch the keys that are played and mimic it. Of course, I only listen/watch for a few seconds and then pause, and attempt it. Learning through synthesia becomes really easy, you'll start to notice patterns and such as you learn more songs. gl

Of course you need to pause the Video. But in my opinion it becomes very hard to play a little part and go back to the PC just for unpausing the Video and watch a few more seconds. That's why i highly prefer sheets to learn new pieces and I can only recommend it.

I know this is late but I was able to learn a ff13 song from these types of videos. Just pause it and see were the note lands and then progress more bit by bit until you master each separate part. Hope that helped
