When hunting be careful not to go out of the agro range if you do even if they are next to you they will lose interest and health will reset to full had prince of death to 1 hit only to have him reset

This sucks I did everything but I'm missing one orcalcum. Should I not have crafted the oroburos set for my gauntlets and waist? If that's the case it's kind of bs. Edit: found the last piece, do the side quest duty undying there's two parts to the quest. That way you will be able to not only craft both armor sets, you get the sword as well.

Its not missable but tbh you shouldnt Skip it. NG+ has a even further Weapon Upgrade System and this weapon in its Baseform is easy Outmatched in NG+ by even NPC Weapons.

Just follow the Main story and Make sure to do The + side quests especially for Black Thorne all the way to Quest 4 and youll only get to side quest 4 following the main story, then youll have to find and kill certain S rank Marks on the Hunt board for Orichalcum

The Weapon or actually Name is a relative Staple in the FF Franchise. FF7R had an Accessory with that name and in FF14 its the Name of the Hard Mode ARR Trials in German.

Weapons/armor progression in this game is not very good and I found our early on that the weapon tiers mean absolutely nothing. The minimal RPG elements this game has feel tacked on just because Final Fantasy is in the title. So even the strongest sword in the first playthrough feels like every other sword you can craft or purchase. 😔

Everything basically a let down. I wanted more rpg feel to it like controlling other players, have more spells(no ga spells like firga,waterga, etc), more customizations. Other FF games exploring and finding rare treasures like actually made me feel worth getting it but here it's nothing the game is too easy and button mashing the same combos over and over. FF15 was more of an rpg than this DMC with FF skin bs.

@LarranceCotton almost every rpg side quests boils down to either talking to npcs, collecting stuff, fighting monsters, or playing some kind of minigame. How can every playthrough be the same when NG+ completely changes the enemies and makes them stronger? On top of that you have 8 different Eikons with different abilities and since you can only equip 3 at a time someone who's using Phoenix, Garuda, and Titan is going to have a different playstyle to someone using Odin, Bahamut, and Shiva.

Man, weapons and armour are so disappointing so far in this game... just incremental numbers going up - no added effects, not even different values in attack power and stagger to maybe switch between during combat. You can't even get powerful weapons early like past FF games, they specifically become unlocked at points in the story... The equipment system is def my biggest letdown with this game. No real effect in customization - I've played like 25 hours and the only cool thing I've found is a ring this channel has already covered.

Jeah the only point in customization comes from your Eikon and Accessory Setup. At the End of the Game i was able to Hit 170k in Stagger dmg and due to Acessories i can circle trough 3 differend Ultimate Attacks while Staggered. Great Build and really hyped for the Numbers on NG+

Or a bracelet that increases your next physical strike damage by 500% after you hit a target with magic etc etc This game kind of fails as an RPG and excels as an action game - the former point just makes the light rpg aspects annoying instead of interesting. Yeah… so I killed every hunt board boss early. Like, as soon as they appeared early. I’m a gaming god period, so these fights posed little to no challenge even when I was “under levelled and under geared”. No dark steel. Did I fuck myself by being too good at gaming?
